- Will Singapore go to war? Singapore is a practically diminutive nation-state but it hides a true military powerhouse that could be even more powerful than Israel. Fetch'd summarises how Singapore has had to carefully manage its external relations due to its small size and highly strategic location and the strategies it enforces to prevent a scenario like war.

We as a Singaporean better leave in peace be good to our serounded neighbour, because we no need to compare to Malaysia Thailand Brunei Philippine or other country just look and see our neighbour Indonesia with 17.500 island. The island that same size like Singapore i thing is more than thousand. Let be peace everybody will leave happily dont thing about war. If you thing that you are strong but there have somebody, more strong than you because they do not want to show what they have. First half of the video: Great content and superb summary of the rise of Singapore and its military capabilities. That part from 10:27 is taken right out of the anti-China narrative espoused by the Western media. If Singapore is to face a military threat at all, it will not come from, or directly caused by, China.
Right. China will never ever start a war with any country, much less with Singapore. Taiwan is a different story, because China considers Taiwan as her own….

All male Singaporeans are Soldiers after British left Singapore undefended.
Male Singaporeans and Permanent Residents served a mandatory 2-years National Service but not all are serving in the military. Many are serving in the Singapore Police Force and Singapore Civil Defence Force as well.
All of which are components of Singapore's Total Defence strategy.

Singapore has been discriminated for their independence and sovereignty since they became a Republic and uphold the Constitution and rule of law and the principles and values laid out in their founding principles of democracy and equality with respect and honour for their people and country 😂 . Why r we a minority nation in a multi religious and multi cultural region. Singapore is a sovereign nation with secular laws and rules. Religion and politics have prospered from the freedom of religion and belief. A country with secular laws and democratic values is a progressive democracy with freedom to prosper without prejudice.

Singapore is strong militarily as of today but in case of total war, Singapore will not last long.
Singapore does not have the manpower, the strategic space to maneuver, strategic resources such as food & water, & ammunition production facilities to sustain combat in 1 year.
Singapore can easily be besieged to surrender, bombard with missiles & artillery from neighboring islands, and the people’s love for money and order can easily force their government to surrender.
Most analysts predict in the event of Allies war with China, Singapore will be a fence sitter.
