    I have two coming in the mail tomorrow. It’s not practical for a key light but it’s the same form factor as my olight mini series with higher output and runtimes. Not to mention the lock out modes are way awesome for its size

    Thanks for the video demonstration! I was about to buy it, but there are not enough lumen steps: 1, 15, 65, 200, then 1000? That's one heck of a jump. You should let me decide what lumens to program into it's memory. I would like 1, 50, 150, 300, 500, 1000.
    Oh well, I still love you nitecore

    I will eventually end up buying one. I have a TM03 and love nitecore products. However I do wish this was thinner. On nitecores other key chain light, I stuck a piece of adhesive velcro to the back so I can stick it to the velcro on my gear. This one is to thick and will end getting hung up on on things. But all in all looks like a great product.

    It just arrived. I would be very satisfied IF it wasn't equipped with the outdated micro usb port. It's been 8 years since Type-C, why couldn't a modified version with a normal charging connector be released?
    I am very angry with the manufacturer Nitecore, because it never occurred to me that I would have to look for a micro usb cable again somewhere (because it is not in the box anyway).

  • @Madman6505
    @Madman6505 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nitecore you need to make a version II with better grip, more solid buttons, and make the key loop removable so it can tail stand. And make it IPX 8 water resistant. You would have an abbsolute masterpiece of an edc.

      Yeah and the output jumps. Make it atleast 500-600 before a 1000 lumens. And make it replaceable battery like 14500 or 16340 that is also usb rechargeable. For sure i'll take that, but this with built in battery? It is disposable.

    I'm curious, where is the TUP or Acebeam UC15 brighter?
    a large size may not be categorized as a keychain anymore, maybe it's more appropriate to say a pocket flashlight.

    • @NitecoreStore
      @NitecoreStore  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      We tend to agree. Although the TUP does compare in size to some of the bigger car keys out there and can be attached to a key ring, we found it most comfortable as a pocket carry.

    • @elefanX
      @elefanX 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      honestly I like the design of TUP, I personally don't care about the size of the TUP which is not the same as the key hanging, indeed more here you have to change more but not reduce its performance. I think the more manufacturers make pocket flashlights, the more choices and stronger competition between flashlight brands.

      The TUP includes a user guide with it to help you remember some of the less-used functions. Probably the "trickiest" manuever is locking/unlocking the flashlight, but most of our test users caught on pretty quick. For basic operation, the TUP is straightforward and intuitive.

      NITECORE rates the TUP at 15 minutes of runtime on Turbo from a fully charged battery. In our tests, that was plenty of time for long duration bursts as needed when performing various tasks.

      @@hotrodparker I use a keychain light to find things in pitch darkness, the moonlight mode is enough for most tasks, let alone 45 lumens. That's what most people want from a keychain light - size is more important than lumens. If I need more, I'll carry an EDC light or something bigger. Understand now?

    • @hotrodparker
      @hotrodparker 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That's very antiquated thinking in the technologically quickly advancing flashlight world today. Even my tiny Nitecore TIP keychain light has 300+ lumen capability. Now, key chain and micro sized lights like my Olight S1R Baton 2 are pushing 1,000 lumens and can fulfill most needs instead of the antiquated need of carrying multiple lights. My point is; There's no sound logic in resisting or resenting more lumens, power and longer run times in smaller and smaller platforms. If you don't want the extra power, don't use it.
