You can see why Johnson was so good in these days when he was chasing Stewart for the win at the end. He was really the first guy to understand the importance of clean air that is now so prevalent in modern day Nascar. Stewart completely gave him the bottom and that allowed Johnson to get clean air in the corners and eventually make the pass relatively easily. Nowadays, Stewart would've stayed on the bottom to aero-block Johnson and he probably would've won if he did that but back then? It wasn't yet fully understood the importance of manipulating the air to keep the person behind you staying behind you. These guys were just straight up racing, not against the air but against themselves, and this is the style I miss in Nascar nowadays because you don't see it anymore. It's all aero racing now and manipulating the air.
Ngl, areo blocking wasn't as common at all bcs u could follow cars way easier back then. Tony tried to areo block,. Ut his car didn't work as well on the bottom. You could run different lines way easier too bcs look just how much rubber is all over the track then too.

Generally, yes. Anything on SPEED I won't have in HD. The TNT portion of the schedule might be sketchy and some ESPN races are replays, although I think they're full races.
I have the Vegas race. It's definitely not as nice. Something happened with the local FOX affiliate and they basically just showed an upscaled 4:3 version. Unsure if it's an upgrade from other versions out there, but I can still post it.
