- Relax as I prepare a Ford Torino stock car for an upcoming slot car race.
My videos are best enjoyed using headphones or earbuds.
This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities. I love how I get to watch this with no ads. I’m out of town in a hotel room with my buddy who snores soooo loud, so turning up the volume without the worry of an ad blasting in my ear while I sleep is an amazing feeling. I finally got around to watching FvF and it was a fun watch. I was born in Detroit and my great grandfather Antonio DiFalco worked for Ford near 100 years ago at this point. Amazing how far weve come in the last century.
The rain sounds that you add to some videos are a wonderful accompaniment.

It's been a while since I took in a movie. Everything has changed. The seats were big black leather-like power recliners! Was probably six feet of space between each row! The addmission ticket was only $5.50 but the popcorn and soft drink was close to $20. I don't see how some families can ford to go to the movies regularly.

Watching your videos for asmr you got me into slot cars! I used to go to the slot car tracks with my father when I was a little kid and it was so much fun! Anyways thanks again and keep up the great videos
Slot car racing is a great hobby, especially if you can race with a group of people. The camaraderie mixed in with a bit of friendly trash-talk is the icing on the cake of life.
Hi RASMR, big fan. My little brother downloaded a game the other day called Tracks The Trainset Game. It's basically a builder game where you build your favourite model railway towns with the visual appearance of those old wooden train track sets that were popular a while back, I think it could be a rival to your mine craft series. The Ford Torino was the catalyst for the design of the locally built Ford Falcon GT coupe here in Australia (the original Mad max film used a XBGT model). The Falcon GT coupe is now so sort after you'd pay min $100k for a good one. In my mind the most awesome car ever built down under.

In spain we race slotcars without magnet so the car car slide, is much more fun imo

I think one of my cousins drives NASCAR. He's my 1st cousin once removed, so I don't know him too well.
Fun fact, at Le Mans in 1966, Ferrari and their star driver had a falling out the day of the race, and didn't participate.

You can find 1:32 scale slot cars at many hobby shops. You can also find them online at sites like Ebay as well as online slot car stores. Simply type "online slot car stores" in google and a plethora of online slot car merchants will show up in the search results. A couple that I have used are professor motor and electric dreams. Simple as that. Good luck.

How did the race go
Not so good. It turns out that because I spent to much time trying to solder the wires to the motor, the heat actually distorted the plastic end bell, thus upsetting the intimate contact of the brushes against the commutator, which severely affected the speed at which the car ran. As suggested by others, I should have sanded and scuffed the motor tabs before soldering the wires to them.
It's a great movie, other than Bales accent. It's all over the place.

I thought it was a great movie, though a rather long one at that.Thank goodness for those reclining seats at the theater. Kind of sad how the movie ended though.
