I've been playing ice hockey since last winter as a preteen and while i have played street hockey before that, it's very inspiring to have someone who also wasn't born on the ice learning the sport too. We really only put white tape under the grip tape for the looks because grip tape is see through when it’s only one layer and you only want one layer on the stick so adding the white tape underneath makes it a bit thicker and adds style ig

It’s hard to explain, but I remove the top part of the tape knob where my palm holds the stick so just my pinky catches the raised part. Then I use tennis racket over grip. Do this, and your gloves will last forever.
