I love the studio version of this song. It's definitely one of the coolest tunes ever. This version of it is awesome too. I enjoy what sounds like a slower grungier sound to it. The vocals come through clearer too.
excellent live version...but the studio version has more consistent snap to the drum hits, a slightly faster pace...and viewed from 42 years hindsight, the studio version is a textbook 17-minute play-along lesson on almost every element of '70s punk you'd ever need.
the quine tapes have the most awesome versions of this song as well as some others. its by far the most rad vu jam session, please check it out if your a fan!!!!!!!!!!!! the quine tapes.. ;*)
I can't believe I never knew this take existed. I thought I new every VU track. This is a whole new world of Ray. P.S. just found out suicide covers this song. Punk.

It's psycedelic-punk ... I love it!❤
This band had it going on
real coolness
wish i could give it more than one thumbs up.
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards always said that this and "Heroin" inspired "Stray Cat Blues"...and now, I think they were telling the truth.
only 26,000 views? Shameful, come on youtube community, get you act together and listen to some proper music.
R.I.P. Lou. Always be missed. Never forgotten.
I'm missing the organ part from the record. I think that really makes it.
Man, I can hit it sideways. Lou mustve just been a chipper. My ex could hit her neck with the needle going the other way though, that shit is scary.
this is an audable walk in the park compared to the record. hate to say it but its a bit poo. out there though, socked it to me
with those 3?? anyone would be ...;) always loved Mo for some reason
haha - no thumbs down - damn straight, why would anybody be here if they didn't know music

vocals area bit loud but vu rhythmic jamming noise and lou reed. there's nothing better
Tasty
I think I read that they played this gem live sometimes in excess of 50 minutes. Hell, I wouldn't have gotten bored.
