Back out with the V80, first hunt since latest software upgrade, but EMI issues persist ;-(

So Quest released a new software upgrade, supposed to improve an issue with ground balancing and overall stability... so I took it back to the field I'd had issues with EMI previously. Here's the outcome in the field.
Highlights include (AI generated this summary, I'm experimenting with it!)
Previous experiences showed the Quest struggled with EMI issues. This test aims to see if the update has improved its stability.
My view is the importance of confidence and stability in metal detectors can be key to a good experience. I'm willing to give the Quest more time despite initial issues, but my confidence is waning.
During the test, the Quest detector still shows signs of instability, such as excessive chattering and false signals, even at 60 sensitivity.
I find various items, including a possible coin, shotgun caps, and foil.
The detector is more stable when detecting actual targets but still too sensitive overall.
In comparison, the Versa, did not have similar issues in the same field.
