I really enjoyed how in-depth you got with all the items. From price to function efficiency and preference.
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed.

3:18 I haven't seen the vid in some time and didn't want to interrupt this video but as a bare minimum I'd recommend at least one TQ, an Israeli bandage, couple pairs of nitrile gloves, bandaids of different sizes, and some kind of wound cleaning wipes like povidone-iodine wipes in a plastic bag to help reduce them drying out, gauze (few packages) and med tape.
A good Stalker always keeps a medical kit on him. Even when Larping. Especially when carrying real weapons.
Always bring water. Even if it's 'one hour'
Remember Black Hawk Down 'You're not gonna need that dude, we'll be in and out in 30 minutes'
Hey, i also do some urban exploration. Found a working pellet rifle, was cool, still have it, shoots well.
Nice. That's a pretty neat find.
@@IntoTheZone Also, burning question, i cant find answers, is the Yugoslav M1 mask CBRN? You seem to know about respirators.
I'm almost positive that they would be fine if in good condition, stored right, etc. What chemicals they would protect you from is the big question. I've never bought one simply because of the 60mm thread pattern. I like the way they look, but getting an obsolete filter pattern kinda put me off. Maybe check out Weaponsandstuff93. I know they have one and have probably done an in depth review on it. Sorry I cant be more help my dude.
@@geigermulleryoutubescience1973 They aren't on par with US/UK/Canadian CBRN but they still offer decent protection. Ensure the straps and mask itself are free of cracks and tears. Check seal around eye holes. Quick check is putting it on correctly (videos of how to do that are on TH-cam I'm sure as we as military manuals) and do a seal check.
I have zero knowledge on their filters, though. Better to go with something newer and have a few new/good filters on hand for more serious use IE around protests and CS gas is deployed. If you expect spray or other contaminants such as radiated dust make sure you have a proper hood.
@@SonOfTheDawn515 Thanks, they always were kinda flimsy and cheap, considering most just sit in old apartment buildings, military models look better and mine was new, so its better i guess. Might actually get some decent respirator cause Serbia is pretty much falling apart.
Quick tip for the canteens…they are very prone to leaking so you can prevent leakage by electrical taping the threads of the canteens
The ww1/2 aluminum ones or the plastic ones? I know with the aluminum ones you do but the modern plastic ones have sealed fine for me so far.
Nice set up bro, and I like how you went into the pros and cons of all the gear. The only thing I still need for my kit is a gas mask, I guess I will probably be a good Stalker and go with the GP5 mask and the adapter but we'll see. Also I like your sidearm, revolvers are always a good standby, but for me personally I use a CZ 82 that I have broken in over the years. It would be cool to see you do more surplus and Stalker gear reviews in future. But until next be safe out there Stalker.
Thanks fren. Hope you get your GP5 soon my dude. And yeah, I'd totally get the adapter for sure. Like I said in the video people swear by the Israeli filters but I've never tried it myself. And while the Polish filters are good and work perfectly, being limited on which filters you can use kind of sucks when your waiting on a shipment. And I'll be doing more and more of these reviews as time goes on. They've been super requested and people seem to enjoy them.
I prefer the old 1911. I know, boomers gave it a bit of a reputation, and it's certainly an old school design, but it works and has a very nice trigger and little recoil.
13:30 for that I recommend a poncho and poncho liner as well. Small, light weight impromptu sleeping bag. Not ideal for really cold temps but above 45° you won't suffer as much as being without. USGI poncho liners dry fairly quick, too.
I've got that and it's pretty sturdy. Waiting on an opportunity to actually use it outside.
ive been carrying one for a while. works great as a sleeping mat or shelter, in hot parts of summer works fantastic for a shade, split them apart for more surface area. i still carry my blankets
Cameraman out here dying of asthma attack
This may become very useful, very soon.
Glad to hear it.
@@IntoTheZone 💀
Keep this kinda stuff coming
Will do fren
14:54 environment permitting, you'll stay warmer taking your top off and using it as a blanket so long as you have a decent barrier between you and the ground that will sure as shit suck the warmth out of you.
Good hunting stalker.
Thank you my dude
17:54 battery powered ones are around and nice that they aren't just one time use.
Gebirgsjäger is the term used for German Army infantry that mainly operates in Mountainous Areas and Artic climate 🤙🏻

I love this community.
I have a surplus soviet veshmeshok. Lore accurate and still effective
You know wouldn't be vid from the zone without some camera fuckery
That's simply how she goes any time I try to film in 4k
6:16 Man, I'm filling your comment section.
Anywho, yes, N95 masks are good when worn correctly. It is highly discouraged to breathe in dust (no duh but bare with me) of unknown origins. Shit like drywall dust has a cancer link along with other crap. Decent ones actually do a decent job of not fogging up eye pro too bad as well.
This is a sweet fuckin radio
4:21 yes to knee pads. In my teens and twenties I eschewed them as much as I could get away with (army). Now, in my thirties, I wish I didn't. Now I use them at my current job doing home renovation but the damage is already done.
I own a similar backpack like that but the fabric is rubberized (and therefore waterproofed).
Very nice. I usually just use my buttpack (small day pack that attaches to the back of my web gear) and stuff a few snacks and a poncho in it. Sometimes a jacket liner too. For more than 24 hour expeditions, I use an Alice rucksack. I like the Alice because it's sturdy, relatively cheap ($100 for the frame and everything) and very modifiable. Reasonably light too.
0:06 The only Patron, Chernobyl Wolf is based
I'm in briar country so I wonder if I should use knee pads, I always end up getting stabbed
He is highly based my dude.
For people in Canada the filters work on gp5 or other soviet masks
Do the Canadians get given gas masks?
@@justsomeguy9700 what do you mean?
@@PaddyIRA How you described it makes it sound like a civil defense program or the like, or is it armed forces?
@@justsomeguy9700 no they don't get any civil defense masks sadly but the armed forces get the c5 now
There is a severe lack of random tracer rounds and SPG rockets. Are you sure this is the Zone.
Would recommend some cheap binoculars a lot
Not only you can scout the place better but also useful to identify animals and just looking around
And a rope
I got that pack in thumbnail over a decade ago. German mountaineer pack. My only real complaint is the very small amount of padding in the straps. Otherwise it's decent for what it is.
That's a valid point for sure. I don't mind it personally, but I can see others not liking it for that reason. I've been using these packs for over 10 years at this point and its just second nature to me.
@@IntoTheZone It's fine for overnight stuff but I used it to haul some full ammo cans some years back when my buddy and I were walking out into the woods on his family's property to shoot. That's when it definitely showed. Using it for light stuff/overnight stuff it's fine. Definitely not big enough for camping, though.
@@IntoTheZone The rubber coating under the flap lids is a nice touch. For some reason the US military omits that feature. Guess they just prefer we use the waterproof bags.
100 Rads Bar certified!
Another option for rucksacks would be a Veshmeshok Soviet rucksack, I found one original for 15 dollars
Good one zone as always
Thank you fren
An Into the Zone cooking series would be very interesting
Stick around its coming soon!
@@IntoTheZone God speed ITZ, god fucking speed
I love the jacket you're wearing! Is that a gorka? or am I just goofy LMAO
1:07 Geh-bergs-yAger is the closest I can think to write it out to pronounce it closer to correct.
Had the privilege of living in Bavaria for a couple of years so picked up some stuff.
my friend you have forgotten a crucial part of urban exploration! just in case you are in a pickle and it begins to rain always store atleast 10-15 trash bags so you can turn them into a poncho
Thanks for telling us you didn't watch the whole video.
He literally shows an emergency poncho and mentions that he usually has a military one with him.
But I don't disagree trash bags would be a good idea to bring along.
6:30 better than nothing but not any where near the best protection for asbestos.
Nice! 🤣
Thanks buddy, hope youre doing well!
Thanks for the great content as usual and you to brother
You can get modern GOSP filters from eastern years
Good vid, just trade the swaying and panting bipod for a tripod lol
ask ur homeboy to hold his breath god damn
The fact that you can hear the breath of the cameraman😂😂😂
I saw no rats in the video :(
Good work
Is this for like hobo camping?
Into The Zone is based???
Highly based.
MilSurpRised
great video!! thanks!!!!
Shoutout to Darth Vader for recording this video!
what’s the jacket you’re wearing?
Its justa Gorka jacket. Not sure what just the jacket runs, but the pants/jacket goes for about 100 USD (or did. God knows its probably more expensive now)
Nice setup tho if you ever decide to make a actually bug out kit and get the most expensive shit bc it wold make your life a lot easyer and all ways have thermals you will allways lose to some one how has theme and have a water filter trust me it will pay oof
This is awesome. What state are you in? I love doing this stuff

Just fyi; those radios require you to own a ham radio license and its illegal in most countrys to use those without a license since you can use them to transmit on the amateur radio bands (which is for licensed users only), and because they have a higher output power than is permitted for all other frequencies. So if anyone thinks of buying one of those; please dont. you might accidentally interfer with licensed operators which can get kinda expensive if you get tracked down by your governments communications agency (which they can and will do if ham guys complain).
So please dont buy this baofeng model and go for one that is specifically marketed as PMR, FRS, CB, or other since those radios dont require a license, and are just as good for what you want to do.
Wrong. It doesn't require a license to own. Just to transmit. You will be caught if you do dumb shit. But if you use it as a emergency communications device and not bother anyone youll be good
Get a load of this nerd!!!
where did you get that backpack?

Oh you're fine my dude! Don't feel bad man. Just watching and interacting via comments is great. And honestly, a 1:5 exchange ratio was waaay better than I was expecting for Brazil. Has it gone up in recent years?
@@IntoTheZone yes, it has gone up.
*BUT* recently the price of the dollar went down by almost a WHOLE brazilian Real.
Back then (dont remember the date.) - 1 dollar = 5.77 Brazilian Reais
Now (also dont remember the exact date) 1 dollar = 5 Brazilian Reais
absolute stonks my dude.
Which jacket you was wearing? Looks very comfy. Nice video.
Thats just a Gorka 3 top
What jacket is that?
You carry a Taurus? Jesus christ bro bahhahaha
