Sterling Forest, Let's Take A Tour!

Did the full Sterling loop and decided to record some of my favorite parts! Sorry for the poor quality at the end of the video. GoPros do not like low light 😔

I like to park on the top parking lot and ride it the opposite way! But that’s me 🙃.
I would like to try an ebike there 🤘🏽

Yeah a lot of people say they do that but I like ending my ride with a DH not a climb

I've personally never seen one there, but I'm sure there's plenty of bear in that area.

Nice ride, this place is very demanding in every way. I started riding this place in 2021 and out of any place I have rode, this is the most grueling 8 miles I have ever done. I park in the parking lot off Long Meadow RD and ride the loop clockwise. I have a GT Sesnor 27.5, but am building up an Intense Primer 29er, so I will be interested to see how it compares.

If you park in the caretakers lot, you don't have to do that gnarly fire road climb. Also, how do you transport your ebike in a Supra?🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah but that means I'd have to climb back to my car when I'm done. I like ending on a DH run. Also I have the SeaSucker rack, so I suction cup it to my roof 🤣

@@STV3TA the time I went there we did caretakers lot and did the loop clockwise it was about 8 miles. Definitely some harsh riding

Riding Sterling on an EBike would probably be more fun. I am wiped after riding it on my regular MTB.

By all means do it in opposite direction
