this, just like the warp factor distortion pedal, is a real sleeper. they both have this kind of... buzzy and thuddy thing that could maybe be EQ'd out. it DOES the nu metal thing, but it can also do SO much more.

People who have been playing long enough to be good likely wouldn't be interested in an amp marketed the way this one was lol. It's very unique sounding though, it's like a hard clipping tube amp. I remember that nu-metal stuff that H&K was putting out in the late '90s to early 'teens, especially that ridiculously bad "Landmine" distortion pedal they had. That distortion pedal I mentioned was literally the worst distortion pedal I had ever heard up to that point, and that's even in comparison to stuff like the Digitech Metal Master, which is shit in its own right, but still better than that toneless H&K sludge box lol. Literally the only thing that was cool about it was how it looked (as a teen). Now, as an adult and a Veteran at that, I look at products shaped like claymores, landmines and frags and all I can do is just shake my head. I really hate it when people fetishize the military. War is serious shit. It just sucks that people have to be told this, thanks to the prevalence of videogames and such that have desensitized people completely from the gravity of what they're taking part in.

We just want to jump in here and say that the Landmine wasn't anything to do with us ;) It was actually made by a company called Landmine.
We had a pedal back in the day called the Warp Factor, which is probably what you're thinking of. It looked fairly similar and although it's not the pedal we're the most proud of sonically (it was perfect for that metal sound back then though!), it was aesthetically modeled after a certain TV show where phrases like "warp factor" got used regularly!
      Now beam us up, Browney!

@@HughesandKettneramps I never said that "land-mine" was what it was called. I just meant that it looked like one. Sorry for not knowing the name of an obscure pedal that literally nobody of note ever used lol. Coal Chamber doesn't count, btw.

I'm not familiar with this channel so maybe there's a medical thing I'm unaware of but that hunching neck angle doesn't look like an ergonomic way to play a guitar or sit in a chair.
