@RockinRedRover the blue caps at Hemsby was one of my favourite gigs along with Don and Dewey backed by the playboys, I've never found that show here on the toob
@@markjames8603 Don n Dewey played Hemsby twice, #6 and #15. There's a few snippets of the Don n Dewey set with the Playboys here, from May '91. @@markjames8603 sounds awful perhaps, but we wern't so bothered about missing the Blue Caps as we'd already seen them a few times at Weymouth(where I met my wife), Brean, etc. Great times !
Sounds a lot more melodic than the original. Much better IMHO. Johnny died tragically young at 57 of liver failure. Anyone know if he was an alcoholic ?
