Brilliant, happy daze. Think Johnny played Hemsby twice, #7 & 8, so Oct 91 and May 92. Thanks so much for posting this Moose !

@@markjames8603 memories struggling as I saw him a few times, and he was always happy to make guest spots and suchlike, so yes he probably did !. I'm surprised to find that the only time the Blue Caps played Hemsby, and yes was #7, Oct 91, same as this show !. Well remembered !

@@markjames8603 Don n Dewey played Hemsby twice, #6 and #15. There's a few snippets of the Don n Dewey set with the Playboys here, from May '91. I was gutted as we couldn't attend that one, as was getting married a few weeks later, so had no spare money or holidays lol. th-cam.com/video/LtRATHM5yOw/w-d-xo.html

@@markjames8603 sounds awful perhaps, but we wern't so bothered about missing the Blue Caps as we'd already seen them a few times at Weymouth(where I met my wife), Brean, etc. Great times !

Sounds a lot more melodic than the original.
    Much better IMHO.
Johnny died tragically young at 57 of liver failure.
Anyone know if he was an alcoholic ?
