- Trying to play Call of Duty: Warzone 2 on Steam OR BattleNet, but can't because you want to use a controller... but for some reason, it's not detecting or otherwise working as it normally does? Thank you for making this. I'm using an Xbox One controller in the Steam version of MW2/Warzone 2.0. My controller previously worked while plugged in but MW2 wouldn't recognize it when it was connected to the PC via Bluetooth.
The tip at 1:11 to change the setting specifically for MW2 fixed my issue. With my controller on and connected via Bluetooth, I changed the setting, closed Steam, then launched the game, and it was recognized immediately.
If anyone's PS4 controller still didn't work after all these methods, what worked for me was, Start>Device Manager>XBOX 360 Peripherals then right click "Xbox 360 controller for windows" and disable. Restarted PC and my controller finally worked.

On large maps my controller does 360s but I tried same controller on console no dead zone problems but the controller would work on rebirth and fortunes keep ,multiplayer is this to do with usb cap ?

For people having problems with Xbox controllers. Just go to the main menu and go to aiming input device and click controller. This works only when in the menu not INGAME

i got my controller but the buttons aren't functioning properly and the picture on mw2 settings show an xbox controller instead of a ps4
I had to go to device manager and disable the Xbox 360 controller driver that was there. I tried to uninstall it and it came back. I don’t even have an Xbox 360 controller. Works now.

Still doesn't want to work. I think it's the dam game. My controllers work perfect in other games but in warezone 2.p is just something else.
Question My controller works in overwatch but like I can only aim. The movement firing and everything else doesn't work. When I push down on the joystick a very annoying keyboard pops up. Ive been trying to fix this the past year any advice???

It works now on my controller just go to the controller settings instead of default settings i enable steam input. It works now on my bluetooth controller gulikit king kong 2 pro. Its weird cuz my controller is plug and play on all games.

ps5 controller still doesnt work on anything non steam aka battlenet...
My right analog isn’t working. Ps5 controller via Bluetooth connection to my pc. Used to work fine and stopped out of nowhere. Everything works fine on apex legends though. Crazy

I was using an Xbox controller but now ps4 except the game won’t read it. And when going over to remap buttons it’s saying to use my Xbox controller
The problem is that there is sum files missing in the game,and they will not be downloaded when i reinstall the game..The only way for me has bin to use controller trough steam input..witch i hate !! Because it is always lingering in the back of my mind that the input is going trough as u say "a middle man",and i SWEAR i can feel the deelay😅

I have connected the Dualsense controller via Bluetooth but its not being detected in COD Cold War or Warzone 2.0, it just works in COD when it's wired. What should I do so it works in Bluetooth mode too?

bro do you use ds4 windows, i have the same problem, my ps5 controller connects to bluetooth and connects to ds4 windows. but when i go on warzone it won’t work and i can’t change my input from mouse and keyboard to controller even in the main menu. it was just working yesterday
