They are only like a pillow so they can't hurt. What she's probably referring to is that her bite changed but if she is having discomfort it could be related to a cavity or fractured tooth. Maybe go to your general dentist for an exam and xrays just to be safe?
hello, i got one on my back molar today...how long do these normally stay on? for me there isn’t much pain and it is easy to eat, but i don’t like how it looks and i have a lisp 😖
You'll want to ask your dentist that question. I usually only leave them on a few months but sometimes dentists have other plans. I am sure you'll get used to it soon!
I’ve had them for not even 24hrs and I’m already done with these🙄
OH NOOOO - it will get better.
Same lol

that's pretty normal- talk to your dentist but probably soft foods for now
I’m getting braces, expanders, and bumpers in. I have a 100% overbite, so I’m kinda worried I won’t be able to eat
Thanks for your comment. It might be a little rough initially but just get a lot of soft foods. You'll make it through!
Do you get used to them so you can eat normally after a week or so?
Not, it will take many months to eat normally. Lots of soft foods for now.
Yea u do actually I have them for about 5days and I'm eating fried chicken and other things 2

My orthodontist said “it will be hard to eat a lot of food”. They should have said “it will almost be impossible to eat anything” 😂
True
Hi is there a difference if you need them in the front or in the back
StraightSmile Solutions it looks annoying i need them in a few Months maybe the bite pillow but i think the bite blocks
@@whitewindow2744 , the front ones work better than the back ones for certain kinds of bites
StraightSmile Solutions could you make a video how they put bite blocks on and how they put bite pillows on
@@whitewindow2744 like custom ones or prefab ones?
@@Straightsmilesolutions whatever you use
Hell, that’s what they are.

Is it normal for my right turbo to touch my teeth and the left turbo to not touch my teeth when I bite down? (Their front turbos)
You can ask your doc to make them even
I can eat perfectly fine!! Im confused why because everybody is saying they can’t
Agree! I had them too. People just need to adapt.
Mine are on the front and it’s just a little bit harder because I can’t bite down on my back teeth so it’s hard to chew

I really think my doctor made my bumps way to long. They're too far back in my mouth to speak.
talk to your doctor and maybe he can reduce them? or ask for a fixed bite plate instead?
@@Straightsmilesolutions Thanks, I was so annoyed I went in today n the dentist shaved them until ortho is back next week. Thanks!
