As army cadets, many moons ago, we were taken to a SAS assault course and firing range for a weekend. I can still remember it like yesterday. Especially the mock battle in a wood, where our SAS instructor had us open fire, while we were in cover waiting for the other squad, with our blank firing SLR's on a couple walking their dogs. Bloody hilarious and the SAS corporal didn't give a flying fig when the couple lost their temper. Great memory.
Gordon Ramsay has a few TH-cam channels, not just one. He's very clever. He takes his old TV shows from over 10 to 15yrs ago and chops them up into little bits and uploads them to youtube. So he got paid for them shows all them years ago, now he gets paid via TH-cam too. And because he has a million shows over 20+yrs he'll never be short of content to upload. The man's absolutely raking it in.
On British show Ramsey doesn't yell at people... he will rip the piss though. The shouting and drama is a US show production trope so at the end they can have that Scrubs/ Park n rec moment where the all hug at the end .....and they are out of business in a year - he helps restaurant's in Britain doesn't pick fights lmao
There was an exercise a few months back, between the Royal Marines and the Marine Corps. The exercise was meant to be 4 days long. The Royal Marines beat them in 40 minutes…
The idea of the water tubes being the first is for multiple reasons. 1) you have to be able to keep calm in tight and difficult situations. Even if you cant see. Breathe control is important. You cant be gasping for air whilst hiding from the enemy. 2) everything is worse when wet and cold 3) it makes that 32lbs gear weight closer to 45-50lbs if not more. The effectiveness of wet and miserableness in training is why britain creates some of the best quality soldiers. We all have to go to wales or dartmoor and its horrid 😂 i know special forces operators who would rather be in a jungle or desert than in the wilds of british countryside 😂 Also i find this hilarious. I love the thought of watching british squaddies pulling out a prtable kitchen and making fresh food whilst being out on operation. 😂
Lance Henricksen as Bishop in Aliens slithering along the pipe to get to the remote computer is absolutely terrifying! They played US colonial marines so it makes sense.
Gordon Ramsay is actually quite a funny easy going guy when he's not in his cooking show persona. His interview where he stuffs Alan Carr full of spices is fucking hilarious. They also have a short video together where they're cooking, called I'm a Chef And You're a Cook. Since you like silly insults, you'll love it when Gordon calls Alan "You doughnut".
In the UK a lot of people swear as a form of punctuation..and some have the ability of swearing in mid word. We were talking one night about emigrating..and one of the lads said ' I wouldn't go to Aus, fucking, stralia..
Gordon is amazing. I don't believe he is trying to help the cooks he encounters in his shows, but does get the management moving. I imagine Gordon spent years obtaining his cookery skills. But this time with the troops was impressive.
Hello King Boomer. I so LOVE watching ur reactions to many British programmes. I am in my bed right now as I had nasty fall at the end of my stairs!! Spent 7 hours on my floor till ambulance people got me off my floor!! Hurt my lower back. So I need cheering up!! LOVE watching you and Queen Boomer reactions to you both watching these video's. LOVE you both lots ❤❤xx
Hi there, I first just want to say that I genuinely hope you're ok? That sounds awful! On a lighter note, did you spend the 7 hours watching king boomer videos 😅
I actually loved the food when I was in the Army. Always lots of choices and pretty tasty. Even the combat rations were ok for me. So I didn’t need Gordon 😂
That's near me in South Devon lympstone is near one of my favorite places exmouth...I miss doing the assault course after a 10 mile tab with full kit....not 😂😂
I'm exactly the same as you KB. I don't like saying I'm claustrophobic because people think you struggle to get in a lift/elevator, which I have no issue with. But that tunnel in the vid? No way
He's in decent shape, anyone who can run a marathon is but he's pretty mediocre timewise to be fair, I'm a mountain runner and you come across lots of people in the military in mountain running circles, I have two friends who are serving Royal Marines and we always hook up for a run when they're on leave, proper hard as nails blokes, I remember when one was training for the fitness test they have to pass and we'd do track intervals on the local track, and why the rest of us were resting between reps, lying on the ground gasping for air... he was doing pull ups! Different gravy the Marines! 🤣
I heard squatters are starting to leave his property worth millions. He had to go through court to get them out. If any remain they'll be getting evicted soon. Can't remember exactly what squatters were doing there
You should watch Gordon, gino and Fred:road trip, it's hilarious and has great banter, they do a series in Greece which is great, shows a totally different side to gordan Ramsey, and gino is the Italian chef that you saw on the this morning clips very funny man! You'd love it very funny!
The Royal family is actually the richest family on earth by far if you look at how much land they own. Its in the trillions, I know the buildings are technically owned by the crown which is a government entity the building itself is in the billions.
Ramsey's Scottish, and swearing is so much part of out vocabulary we don't even realise when we are swearing...for Scots trying to speak without swearing is like trying to learn a foreign language.
@@louissanderson719 Every Scot has learned every swear word and insult before they reach the age of 5...also Ramsey still had his Glaswegian parents in his life regardless of how long he lived in England.
This is quite an old clip - his mention of Prince Harry wasn't really a dig (Harry was not in disfavour back then) -just a comment on the difference between food at royal tables and the ration packs. As for the swearing, that's pretty typical conversational style for a lot of Brits - "fucking" used as an emphasiser even in non-heated conversations. Not in polite company of course but I believe it's more common than in normal US discourse.
12:40 - When you mentioned about him swearing the first time round I had to go listen to the sentence again cause I didn't hear it. Listened a second time: didn't hear it. That's just how normal English folk talk. I'm not even that working class and it seems normal to me. To be honest it's jarring to me when people's speech is overly sanitised.
Well done to him though this is years ago, the uniform is pre 2011/12, the SA-80 A2 not A3 though they might still use the older version for training. Whatever you think of Harry, the British tabloid press are vile and they started it all and for obvious reasons he hates them. Going back to his Mother too.
All good him using rump steak in his spicy beef curry but how the f*ck do you afford to put rump steak in ration pacs for thousands of people for thousands of days? Putting rump steak in one days food for everyone would mean rationing everything else for everyone for years!
Again you still don't understand that prince harry quote, he was literally making the point you're trying to make by repeating what other rich people had said to him. He's trying to make the point that it's hypocritical to act like Americans are these super rich, super self important people when he himself is royalty. Please tell me you understand now.
Whoever edited this has ADHD (or more likely their boss who thinks they have their finger on the pulse of the nation). The calmness of the original Kitchen Nightmares is a welcome relief. Did they get a US editor? I find US pretend reality TV unwatchable because of exactly that, along with the stupid sound effects and music that is constantly telling you what to think. Turning everything to 11 is not a sound strategy.
You and mrs boomer should watch the mighty boosh, its got moss and richmond from the IT crowd in, you might actually quite like it because its just as ridiculous 😂😂
Jack, Gordon's son, joined the Royal Marines.

Despite his language and earned arrogance he's still very likeable and funny
he learned from the best Marco Pierre White...

Gordon when he was younger he played football for Glasgow rangers.
No he didn't.
@@ritafehr3124Actually he did until he got a serious ACL in his knee and had to retire from the game aged just 19.

i know the real reason why he put the sugar in there, cos a good curry'll send you to SLEEP and they can't have that obviously
Good on Gordon for showing the boys how to whip up a quick curry between gunfights
Lance Henricksen as Bishop in Aliens slithering along the pipe to get to the remote computer is absolutely terrifying! They played US colonial marines so it makes sense.
Gordon Ramsay is also quite good at football (soccer).
He has played quite a few charity football matches!

I think the reason why soilders are given tastless basic grub is so there is no opportunity of them getting the squits at an important time.

Same. I cannot sit in the back of a two-door car. If I don't have an immediate way of exiting a space, I get uncomfortable fast.

Gordon Ramsey is also on TikTok and has a giggle about recipes some people do

Squatting probably.
There's a great TH-cam vid - Gordon Ramsay with Kids vs Adults.
This is just one yomp/test ..imagining doing this day in and out ...not just the one time
Gordon is no spring chicken !
Gordon trained directly under Marco Pierre White, so he IS the real deal... not just any old celebrity TV chef.
Gordon’s swearing is like The Rock saying “IT DOESN’T MATTER!!!” to a wrestler the fans hate!

Swearing in normal conversation is far more acceptable in Britain
Why did you skip Graham Linehan’s second show black books ? ?
