Yes. You're the 2nd person to notice it was made in RPG Maker. Was it the character proportions that gives it away or something else? Anyway specifically this was made in RPG Maker XP which is very versatile and allowed me to create many different kinds of puzzles and gameplay challenges outside of what one would normally expect from an RPG Maker game. Which engine do you use?
@@redspiritmask It just stands out to me hahaha! If you've worked with RPG maker there are a lot of hallmarks besides the art/sprite size that give it away like the way the sprite moves, the amount of frames, windows etc. RPG maker is an awesome engine and really great projects like the fear and hunger series and Felvidek were built in RPG Maker. I am working in RPG Maker now!
@@cronenbuilder277 I've heard of Fear and Hunger but haven't heard of Felvidek. I'll look into it sometime. As far as the popular RPGMaker games, my favorite is Yume Nikki, I really enjoy the surrealness of that game.
Hadn't heard of him before. I bookmarked his channel for now. I think for a large TH-camr like him, if he were to play my game in for his audience, I would rather he play the final version than the Beta. Unless, playing early builds of games is specifically his thing?
Alrighty, well I'll probably reach out to him at some point. Thanks for telling me about his channel. Certainly good to learn about a TH-camr who likes playing RPG Maker games.
😃 Hi Jashard, I'm doing good at the moment. Yesterday, I got to check out an Art Gallery with some African art in it. I probably make a video or two from that experience at some point in the future. How have you been?
This is amazing! I can’t wait for the final version
Thank you! Glad that you like what you see so far. :)
I will enjoy playing this and glitch hunting for you. It will be after the holidays as life is super chaotic right now.
Thanks! Yeah holidays can be very hectic. Alrighty, I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the game :D
Awesome bro 👍
Thanks for the support!
Very cool. I am a solo game dev too... Is this in RPG maker?
