The way I ran to this episode. I suffered with endometriosis for 20 years. Every medical intervention failed me. I had to find a herbal supplement routine and now I am endo symptom free. Love the awareness you all are bringing.
Thank you so much for this ladies. I was just diagnosed with fibroids this week after battling for months trying to figure out why I have been experiencing severe back pain and of course infertility. I am currently in the understanding phase of what this means for me and so grateful someone is talking about this.
Let's bring fibroids into the conversation as well if not emphasized. Prominent in POC, extremely painful cycles. Not diagnosed by physicians at young ages, but once removed much later in life makes ALL the difference!
I havent watched the episode but I have Endometriosis and want to thank yall for bringing awareness to this awful disease! I will never forget watching the segment on fox 5 about endometriosis feeling seen! 💛💛💛
PMDD ruined my life for 5 years.. didn’t get a actual diagnosis until 2020 then still struggled with symptoms until 2023 and finally started on SSRI yo level me and honestly it’s has managed to my Period so mush more manageable..
You can reverser PCOS in about a year by: • Eating less thab 20g total carbs per day → focus on fatty meat instead • Improving your sleep • Decreasing your stress • Daily supplementing: → 4 drops Lugol's 2% iodine in "shot" of water → 10,000 IU Vitamin D³/K² combo • Minimize caffeine intake If you are diligent to do that, you will see massive improvements every 90 days. Happy to explain more or answer questions or address concerns.
Thank you so much for this. I have PMDD. It starts immediately as I ovulate or begin to ovulate. Back pain, breast pain, irritability, anxiety, feeling hypervigiliant. I didn’t feel like this my whole life because I had been on the pill since I was 16 until I stopped to try for my son. When my son was 6 months old I realized I wasn’t feeling okay. I started with SSRI’s but it did nothing. This morning I started birth control again and one that worked well for me prior to having my son. Hoping for good results!!
30 years ago, give or take, I saw an Action News (yup, Philly) report on PCOS, and I was like, this is me. I faxed my doctor the transcript and was like, this is my diagnosis. The thing is, the OB/GYN was the WORST!!!! I had to get help through my family doctor, who would listen to me. No one wanted to attend to what was going on with me because I wasn’t ready to have a baby! Crap, I was in college and stopped having a period at 17 (onset at 12 and very irregular)! They just stopped!!! It wasn’t until I was treated for co-mortifies that the PCOS removed…years later!!! I’m so glad this is being talked about openly. I know I shared this before but it cannot be shared enough, because there are women being told they’ll never have children. That’s also part of my story.
💕💕🌟🌟Oh goodness! 💝🥰❣Every word through this particular sisterhood screening, is poignant, realtable and very much recquired to be spread, universally. Thank you ladies ✨✨💞💞
This conversation is much needed! We have 2 daughters & I will make sure when talking/educating them about this topic to make it age appropriate. The things I didn’t know about have menstrual development until I was in my early twenties is crazy! Love the array of topics you both are bringing to this platform ❤!
Honey!! Perimenopause is a sneaky little thing. I started perimenopause earlier than normal. During the early years of perimenopause, I wanted to divorce my husband every single month. The hormonal fluctuations are insane, and it starts way before you start missing periods. It slowly sneaks up on you. It won't just turn on and you might not even recognize the sneaky symptoms. It was such a relief when my gynecologist told me that I was in full blown perimenopause, but such an emotional thing to process knowing that you are near the end of your reproductive years. I legit mourned a little when he told me this.
I grew up pain free, period for 3/5 over. Mid 30 's I started to experience back pain when my period came on and was told a name for it. Happens I was told that women can start getting cramps later in life. Ok I can deal with it. Mid 40's NOW I'm ready to take everything out. The Pain! The heavy Bleeding for weeks I feel like the Samaritan women ready to find Jesus. I do not have endometriosis or fibroids. I had ultrasound. And D&C nothing was found which is a good thing. However I still haven't find out why I'm in so much pain and bleed so heavy. Breast soreness and feel very heavy . I also started to miss a few months out the year of no period for the last two years which is a blessing until it arrives again with vengeance. Turning 50 next month with an 31 year old. I'm done having kids and pray daily for relief. With recommended is IUD 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
This sounds similar to me…doctor wants to check me for fibroids. Have had the Paraguard for 14 years now (first one removed after ten years and second one in this past June). LOVE THE IUD (Non hormone)!!! Funny that the painful periods started about three months now, but I asked if it’s menopause???? Doc said let’s check for fibroids.

If you don't mind sharing, what did you find?
This needs to be shared! It's true the older generations don't talk about these things.

It was touched on which is great! Didn't see it in title. As mentioned in video, so many conditions to consider.
So well timed. I got diagnosed back in 2020 and now with working a surgeon as it’s a severe case. This is validating.

Yes!! It’s debilitating! I’m scared to get on SSRI bc of side effects. Do you have any? I’m glad you found something that works

I had my doctor try to tell me that having a period twice a month was normal.😮
Is that stress related!
Learned so much from this episode 🤎
