Katty & Karl: the hospital withholds food in case you need surgery. Once the need for surgery is eliminated then they allow eating and drinking. 10 hours isn’t much when you consider you wouldn’t eat for 10 hours overnight. We’re glad Katty was ok!

Must have been pensioners 1/2 price night at the pub! Hervey Bay is gods waiting room + has a huge population of unemployed ….. was once cheap place to buy a house but like everywhere, now caught up! 🎉😂 You need to get a couple of remote headpieces and mics to communicate when at other parts of the boat or up the mast!
Hi Tony, yeah it was a bunch of 50 Year old that jumped a 18-20 year old crazy considering the amount of security. Karl and I communicate fine with hand signals and listening to the plan prior to starting something. I think the language barrier was greater than we realise until that day. Cheers Katty and Karl
