Great video and the SMARTBENCH is a very interesting CNC Technology. I have corresponded with YETI awhile ago when I was less known on TH-cam and Instagram. The CNC has just gotten so much better from then to now.
So this is great for setting up the location of the corner of your stock. How does this ensure that your stock is aligned in parallel with the Xx and y axis of the machine. If the stock is twisted a few degrees (I mean we are setting up this laser by Eye) can we not see a significant run out from a factory edge over the length of the stock?

Thank you for your kind comments!
Cool... It's that an extra, for those who already have one? How about a laser attachment for engraving?
Just use an engraving bit.
The laser datum is currently only available with the SmartBench V1.2 PrecisionPro
What weight leather did you use?
Hi Eric! Thanks for the comment, but we aren't sure what part of the video you are referring to here?

Hi Mark, thanks for the comment. While it is not 100% accurate setting the laser to be square, it is easy to set it within the machines tolerances.

Thank you for your comments. I will see how we can possibly add subtitles in your language.
what tape do you use to secure down the workpiece?
Hi Gerald! You can use double sided tape, or 2 strips of painters masking tape with super glue in-between.
That one was thank you.
THANK S>>>>>>>
wish in real life this laser was this strong like on this clip
