My wife is a heavy menthol smoker & she's 52. She wheezes, coughing up stuff but, the scariest sound is a very loud "Thumping Sound" on exhale while she's sleeping. She has said that I stop breathing upwards of 20sec while I sleep but I noticed she does as well. However, that loud thumping sound is scary & she will not go to a doctor. I have a question please, when I breathe out there is this squeaking/whistling sound coming out of my throat, and sometimes when I do something like climb up some stairs I get a little out of breath. About a mont and a half ago I had Influenza A and I had such bad wheezing during insparation and exparation that I was admitted to hospital where I did nebulizers routinely and the whistling just about started after I got out of hospital. I don’t know if this matters but I’m a 12 year old girl. Thanks a lot!! I LOVED your video!!

Short answer: No. Long Answer: Absolutely not. Really Long Answer: Nope. No. Never in a million years. Definitely not surviving. 0% chance of living. Good as dead.
Hi miss,. I don't know if those conditions will definitely impact you in any specific way. I can sense your worry. You should know, and take seriously, the fact that many people all over the world are given a life sentence from a doctor, that they will live only a certain amount of years because they have some terrible disease, and end up living way longer than the doctor would have ever guessed was possible. I truly believe that your attitude is so important in such matters. What you should do, above all other things (alongside being clean and hand washing), is to take care of your anxiety. There are many ways that you can do so. I will pray for you. God bless you.
Also, I've heard so many stories of people who quit smoking after doing so for 10 years and a year later, they don't have any problems. and even after such diagnoses like Emphysema, their lung issues were resolved. Do what you can to strengthen your lungs but just know that many people do fine after they stop smoking and at least you didn't do it for 20 years. Also, look up what happens after viral pneumonia. I don't think there are any structural changes in the body but it's worth looking into.
Victoria mydlarz Thank you, that was incredibly kind for you to take the time to write that. You’re absolutely right about having a positive outlook and attitude, and how that can always help., and also very perceptive to notice my worry.. I really am trying to stay as calm & isolated as possible during this time, but I think what’s also adding a lot of stress is my little ones that depend on me. I foster, rescue, & rehabilitate pets that are disabled &/or come from abuse, and I truly don’t even know what would happen to them if anything happened to me.. but I’m going to try to work on that anxiety. But what causes a small vacuum sound (like a "pfhooop" said on in breath) at the end of an inhalation? I had this sound last year when I had an infection of some kind in my lower airways. What type of sound is Acid Reflux most likely to cause? Seems that i have a wheeze or a Stridor on the inhale only and its very loud, you do not need a stethoscope to hear this. I'm not asking for a diagnosis but I do want to be able to explain this to my pulmonary Dr.
I don’t mean to be insensitive but stridor sounds like a demon from my nightmares hovering over my face. I also thought wheezing was a high pitch noise like the wind when it blows really hard. Oh it’s deep.
If I had asthma I would know it right ? I cannot hear any sounds when taking deep breaths , I sometimes feel short of breath but also have anxiety , I keep thinking I have a issue but need clarification
you are just anxious, psychologically unwell, and this is not something to ignore. anxiety affects your life, you relationships, and you ability to work or study. you are not physically sick and don't need any medications, you just need to avoid any thing that affects you negatively or triggers anxiety. perform yoga, meditate. add few changes to your diet to make it healthy and drink more water. hope you be alright.
You will know when their is something wrong with your body. It is ALWAYS worth talking to a doctor about your concerns, asthma is always possible. Just open a conversation with your doc about it sweetie xx
when i inhale deeply, occasionally i get a hiccup noise. i think the inhale causes my larynx to contract, idk how to stop it, its normally when i lay down
I’ve got asthma and I keep having attacks were am just sitting down and I can’t get my breath it just comes on but these no wheezing why is this happening it happens around 3 times a day and it comes out of no wear just sat reading it comes on it’s scary??

My doctor told me fine crackling “comes with age”. He said my X-ray was clear. I was so sick in January and at the end could not cough up what I felt in my lungs. Hence my fine crackling when I inhale, as well as exhale. I haven’t been able to taste anything since that time as well.(terribly frustrating for a- “thank god I’m retired “- chef...😖) Great video. I did a chest X-ray but they said nothing is there. But I keep making this weird, loud and embarrassing noise when air forcefully comes out from my chest or king, I’m not really sure where. But it gives me this sharp pain on my chest when it happens and I do that like 30times a day🥺 the dr.s keep saying nothing is wrong with my chest. What can I do🙏
I only get a problem with my breathing after a sneeze and briefly in the morning after i wake up. What do I have? It feels like a very, very small cold in my chest.
I am having some random rumbling and groaning sounds. I don’t think it’s stomach related. But it sounds like a stomach rumble. It is not constant and caused by breathing, my breathing is silent
Have you ever heard of the crackles in the nasal area? I have this sound there nothing on sinus Ct scan or 3 scopes It is driving me crazy. I have recorded it. Can be heard outside of nose. If I lay on my right side, it goes away. Upright, back or left side it is there.

What type of sound is Acid Reflux most likely to cause? Seems that i have a wheeze or a Stridor on the inhale only and its very loud, you do not need a stethoscope to hear this. I'm not asking for a diagnosis but I do want to be able to explain this to my pulmonary Dr.
Hey, just tell them that your breathing sounds off and they'll listen and figure out themselves
Thank you so much for your efforts.
I be having crackles problems when I lay down does this mean something bad finna happen? Can this be fixed?
Can you show us exactly where to place stethoscope for hearing each sound
this video has been so helpful thank you.
I’ve just been paranoid because when I inhale all the way there is a single pop or two and it doesn’t happen as often when I lay down
Yeah same. Literally just one or two.
I have pops and they hurt, progressively getting worse over the past 7 months
Hands up to this great doctor 👏👏👏☘️🇨🇮🍀💚💚💚🙏
God bless you kind Sir 🙏🙏🙏
I don’t mean to be insensitive but stridor sounds like a demon from my nightmares hovering over my face. I also thought wheezing was a high pitch noise like the wind when it blows really hard. Oh it’s deep.
You are correct. The sounds are scary.
Just open a conversation with your doc about it sweetie xx
when i inhale deeply, occasionally i get a hiccup noise. i think the inhale causes my larynx to contract, idk how to stop it, its normally when i lay down
Do u HV collection of all videos. I want to buy
I’ve got asthma and I keep having attacks were am just sitting down and I can’t get my breath it just comes on but these no wheezing why is this happening it happens around 3 times a day and it comes out of no wear just sat reading it comes on it’s scary??

Michelle treat yourself for parasites. Black walnut tincture. Your getting inflammation in the lungs. Take natural anti-inflammatory. Look it up. I eat good quality black licorice. My son take quercetin and zinc. There are others. Find something that works for you.
Try burping if you can, it tends to remove air trapped around the diaphragm . . .its helped me loads when short of breath . . .
@@SobrietyandSolace me too.do u find it disturbing or are u used to it?
Great explanation
Dr, how about TB? We're going to hear coarse crackles right? What's the mechanism for that?
My doctor told me fine crackling “comes with age”. He said my X-ray was clear. I was so sick in January and at the end could not cough up what I felt in my lungs. Hence my fine crackling when I inhale, as well as exhale. I haven’t been able to taste anything since that time as well.(terribly frustrating for a- “thank god I’m retired “- chef...😖)
Great video. Enjoyed it greatly. He should do more . Well versed for. Is laymen.

Very informative, thanks
I did a chest X-ray but they said nothing is there. But I keep making this weird, loud and embarrassing noise when air forcefully comes out from my chest or king, I’m not really sure where. But it gives me this sharp pain on my chest when it happens and I do that like 30times a day🥺 the dr.s keep saying nothing is wrong with my chest. What can I do🙏
Very Well Done...shared & thank you!
Hey please help! My husband makes this strange suckling clicking sound multiple time throughout the night lasting 30 seconds up to several minutes his mouth is also usually clenched up in a kissy face lol and he makes the sound as his mouth goes into that position and out of it over and over again it’s almost every night I have looked online and can’t figure it out. Kinda like a snorting/ tongue clicking/ sucking sound all in one so hard to describe but I’m worried it could be serious since it happens so often and as the sound is made his mouth puckers kind of… do u know what this could be?
It is odd that you showed many abnormal audio sound but reluctant to show the sound of a normal lungs. Is that so difficult to do?
Because normal lung sounds sound as you expect them too, air coming in or out. You can hear it from your self if you breath hardish
Thanks for info because it occurs with my son when he have a cold
