That is a lovely jacket. I always do up every button on the DB, so that would be both buttons on a button two, show three (6x2). Partly because the King has always done it this way, partly because it seems to have more precedent in England (see HlM King George VI, Sir Anthony Eden, etc), and partly because I find the symmetry to be rather elegant.

Love the double breasted jacket. I have a double breasted suit in chocolate brown. Question though, I thought the "rule" was you can but ten the second button if it is cut too. You can leave it open or buttoned. Also you don't need to undue the jacket when sitting.
Alex, you button the last row of buttons ONLY if it’s been cut as a 4x1 or 6x1
If it’s a conventional 4x2 or 6x2 then you LEAVE THE BOTTOM BUTTON UNBUTTONED

Angora is a soft cashmere-like type of wool used only for jackets
Double breasted is something we don't see as much. I had one at a younger age. Maybe time to go again with it. Do you wear bowties or will have information about them? Tieing a bow tie, not a clip on, is a skill every man should learn.
Why don’t you wear Double Breasted Coats? A MISSED OPPORTUNITY in my opinion

I don’t think this is a flattering jacket on shorter men? It looks elegant for sure but I fear I may not be tall enough.
It can flatter all body types. You just need a good tailor.
The are ways you tailor can design your coats to make you look taller such as lapel length.
Also choice of fabric: vertical stripes have a lengthening effect, whereas checks will make you look wider.
I'm 5' 8" and Women tell me I look great in Double Breasted Jacket. It all to do with the Tailor like Ask Okey!
