Welcome to my slow living silent vlog! Today, I would like to take you on a countryside walk. The entrance is behind an old English church. The weather is gorgeous today! While in the meadows, we will listen to the songs of birds, the buzzing of bees, and the whisper of the wind. I will show you my favourite spot under the tree, where we will enjoy homemade sausage rolls and the beauty of nature. We will also gather wildflowers for my cozy cottagecore kitchen. You'll see glimpses of my daily life.
An English countryside walk in spring is so refreshing and always puts me in a great mood. Making a connection with nature is magical. When we return, I will show you around my cottage garden, where I have planted some new flowers. This space is rapidly changing, marking the beginning of the gardening season even more exciting.
After our garden tour, I will cook dinner. Today's menu includes chicken, mashed potatoes with fried onions, and giant Yorkshire pudding with a salad. Join me for a "cook with me" segment that celebrates simple homemaking and the joys of an ordinary life vlog.

Giant Yorkshire Pudding Recipe
Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/2 cup milk
* 2 large eggs
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Preheat the Oven to 425°F (220°C).
Tips:
* Resting the Batter: Letting the batter rest helps the flour to fully absorb the liquid, resulting in a better rise and texture.
* Hot Oil: Ensuring the oil is very hot when you add the batter is crucial for achieving a good rise.
* Avoid Drafts: Sudden temperature changes can cause the pudding to collapse, so keep the oven door closed as much as possible during baking.
For Chicken Butter I simply use 1 egg and flour or bread crumbs, and fry it on a medium heat until chicken is cooked.

Thanks for reminding me that I too can find beauty and respite even in the place I have been forced to live. That amongst all its stresses and undesirable aspects, I can find peace and joy, from forcing myself to ignore, at least for the moment, the overwhelming chores that demand my attention even after a hard work day... I am trying to be consistent in learning how to turn my back on those stresses for a little moment in each day to revel in the joy of my beautiful pets and creating a peaceful little garden bit by bit. For proper Yorkshire puddings your batter should use plain flour, eggs and milk beaten with a whisk to the consistency of double cream and then rested for 20 minutes. You should use vegetable oil and get it sizzling hot in a 220c oven before you pour in the batter. Close the oven door and do not open it for 30 minutes. Then they should be well risen. An extra egg white can get them to rise even higher.

In my videos I want to capture glimpses of my life, how I see the world. Cutting potatoes or observing a moving grass on a windy day - can be hypnotising and even in those little things/moments we can find peace. We have to find peace somewhere. You see, we all come from different backgrounds and experienced different things in life so what’s normal to me, may be unusual to someone else. I believe that even though we are so different (unique), we are still the same. Does that make sense? We have so many different ways of living our lives; choosing our clothes; foods; daily routines. I also believe that we should be more understanding on other peoples choices (as long as it’s peaceful and doesn’t hurt anyone of course) 💕✨☺️🍀
Even in the same family, children will have different opinions, views, ways of dressing, foods they like; and they grew up under the same roof. I hope that makes sense 😊
