John Cruickshank Hello. Yes, I have looked at the website. I mean, don't the Thai railway have offical website or something? I know that there's a narrow gauge steamer at a theme park in Thailand, but that has an official website.

Unfortunately their steam furnaces had been converted to run on gasoline not coal. Officials cited safety and ease of set up for public display as reasons.

Gasoline? Oh no. they have both been converted to oil firing. Nothing unfortunate about it.

It is Oil firing, most of the steam components are the same. Although it would be nice if they still uses traditional. Also. Coal? Really? I never remembered Thailand use Coal Steam Locos. They usually have Wood instead of Coal. Afterall. Wood is quite common source in Thailand. And Thailand do have 2 Locos that use wood to firing. Those are from Japan during WWII. Still preserve in running condiction. Usually runs on special events of the Kwae river.
