LVD I love when you provide brief insight (like at 1:25) for some cards you considered / cards you cut / cards you think could also work. It is super interesting to quickly hear your thought process on certain cards and synergies.

Reidane's Artifact backside is great for dealing with tramplers. Each permanent hit soaks an additional damage and some players don't know how the interaction works, resulting in no creatures dying.
51:00 might as well be chumping with Ghast, just to make a free treasure and save 1 life. Unless you're planning on attacking with the 1/1 there is no possible downside, since even if you end up tapping all your lands next turn ghast pays for its own casting cost with the treasure.
Hi. I gotta say, I've been playing this deck for ranked for the last month or so, and it's REALLY strong. It got me up to Diamond 3 (and still going up) with a win rate about 70%. It's really grindy and can play some very long games, but those games are soooo satisfying. Thank you for sharing it!
Yes. I love this deck a lot. I made something similar to it featuring Liesa and Blood on the snow alongside creatures to sac for value. I have Onyx in my deck as another scary card once the opponent is in a controlled state. I might consider replacing some cards for Ridane and Spellbinder. Onyx is there to help churn through my deck and find other cards as well as work towards an ultimate. This is one of my more favorite decks to run right now. I like soul shatter in the deck myself to combat goldspan and planeswalkers at instant speed.

At 26:51 when you triple block the Old Growth Troll, if your opponent decided to assign combat damage so that the Ghast didn't die then you'd essentially send Redaine to hand for nothing.
Reidane plus a spirit plus a ghast is 5 toughness, so the 5/5 troll must kill all of them before trampling face. There is no option to leave the ghast alive.
@@RibusPQR Opp could have chosen not to trample face for 0, and instead assigned an extra point of combat damage to the spirit or Redaine, thereby not triggering the Ghast and saving their Old Growth Troll
Game one you had 8 lands, mono white had 3. Game two you had 5 lands and many treasures, mono green had 2 and doesn't know how to math on inscription. Seem mana screw was the real mvp!
I feel like the Cathar from innistrad that has flash and can be sacked to destroy artifacts and enchantments might be okay at 2 in this deck. Good synergy with the deck since when it comes back to your hand you can flash it into play and play gets rid of ranger class and other problem artifacts and enchantments the deck could struggle with a bit
Around 28:00 I would have played the shield which basically makes all your opponents creatures do -1/ Would have maybe bought you a little time. Though you ended up drawing a million lands so idk
Where do you source the artwork for overlaying cards you're talking about, LegenVD? The Reidane in-game doesn't look half as good as the one you brought up with the darker colours.

They could still assign more damage to the first blocker to kill it, but I see your point.
It’s also great against epiphany decks - birds now do zero.

The blood money shell really proves to provide quite a powerful frame for a variety of decks.

I versed a version of this which was just board wipe tribal + kaya and Liesa. That was a match
Meathook would add some value with the constantly Priest being sac'd constantly.

more so the second game opponent. Guy had legit 2 lands all game. LegenVD deck has no way of competing with that mono green deck.

A couple pathways might help the mana issues, and you've only got 5 mana permanents so it's not like you ever need 6 snow mana for Blood on the Snow
Blood isn’t the problem otherwise I would definitely play Pathways. Just can’t afford to run them with Priest.

An archangel hanging out with undead priests, ghouls, and unscrupulous traders. Magic: The Gathering is an interesting game.
Demon's Disciple would've gone well with Liesa for reusable removal.
At 27:00 the opponent could not assign combat damage to the Shambling Ghast and the kill with -1/-1 would not be possible.
Liesa blood on the snow is a little dirty. Not that blood on the snow + any 5 drop isn't but being able to play it in a creature heavy deck is neat.

Starting to think that a couple of Evolving Wilds would help smooth things out without interfering with the snow land synergy.

Vanishing Verse only exiles mono colored permanents.
