That place looks amazing, the safe deposit box floor looks interresting. Good thing the lift has manual doors that can’t shut behind you. Nice looking window frames on that bridge too.

That lift right at the end reminded me in size of the nice little Hammond and Champness at my old college that I recently managed to get a ride in. The car was about 4 feet by 6 feet, with the doors in the 6 foot side. Originally installed in the 60s, but still smooth running and good levelling. Building will probably be demolished in the next year or 2.

To think Ben, my dad used to take me to his work at nine elms when I was eleven. He had a flower stand for AW Carey Ltd. And his stall was the first one you came to tucked on the edge of the main floor. Whilst my uncle Tony had a stall centrally in the main bit. We had to leave Falconwood by train to get to Vauxhall. (We lived at bexley road Avery hill Eltham) And had to make sure we got there by midnight so dad could set the stall out after he had deliveries to him via various people. By 4am, he started selling from his stall to bulk buyers. We were done by 7am. Then off to the cafe in the complex upstairs. They called the cafe owner fonzie. He was gay and very funny. Being only eleven at the time, seeing the vastness of the place and how it all works was an eye opener. Sad to see that part now closed off. Thank you for bringing back the memories Ben.

Beno, in that Batwoman show there is an episode in which a villain is using elevators "as a weapon"... I remember talking with people about it and they seem to get blantanly things wrong about elevators. Can you cover that episode and what the creator of the show get wrong and right about elevators?
