Here's a challenge for you beno, remember the old army and navy store in gravesend (now primark), the upper two floors were closed and mothballed back in the early 90's, any chance you could lift surf and explore those upper levels, I seem to remember an old ornate restaurant and lifts hidden out the back, would bring back some great memories!

Is there a way of sharing a video with you Ben? I stayed in a very very posh hotel and it had a really epic old lift, wooden inside, strong smell of oil, and you had to open a door manually to access the car. The actual car doors were automatic.

I liked seeing the ESLA light. I always thought they were pronounced "Ezla." I am gradually making a table lamp shaped like the more usual bow tie shaped Bi Multi. I'm not sure which lampholder to use- small bayonet or small Edison. I collected a dead GEC streetlight from near Southend Airport recently; it once had horizontal cut off- very rare for a Sox light.
