You should watch a video from Rana Gyati's TH-cam channel, where he talks about the tatoo culture of apatani tribe. He has explained everything in detail, and it has nothing to do with apatani women getting kidnapped by neighbouring tribes whatsoever. 😇
HI! After speaking with some of our friends from Arunachal, who shared with us the fascinating tradition of Apatani women and the historical accounts of their abduction due to their renowned beauty. As we delved deeper into the folktales behind this story, we discovered two intriguing narratives that appear to be closely connected to the origins of the tattoos and nose plugs. To provide additional context, we are sharing a link to a beautifully narrated story about Aminido: facebook.com/share/v/ 17yVv2gP8N/?mibextid=Np0jYg You may also find further clarification in the sources we have referenced and pinned in the comments section of the post. We hope you find this as insightful and captivating as we have. Thank you ❤
Our ancestors believed in animism untill the arrival of English Baptist missionaries in mokokchung, Nagaland. If you may consider, that is the reason why... and this is just a folktale not necessarily serious for your consumption please😂
I am from the Apatani tribe and I’m in my 30s. My grandparents used to tell us stories about why they had tattoos. In the past, Apatani women were considered very beautiful, and neighboring tribes would sometimes abduct them. To prevent this, the women started using tattoos and nose piercings, which made them look less attractive to outsiders. And there are still Apatani women who have these tattoos and nose plugs, not just the one you mentioned. 🥲 My grandparents are both still alive; they’re very old now, in their 100s. They both have tattoos. By the way, thank you for sharing our stories, and I really love your channel.

But tbh, all folktales are before Christianity I guess which are leading us to false prophecies, cuz as a Christian now, we only have one God ,which is our Lord Jesus Christ and we are to only worship and acknowledge Him. No offense against anything concerning about naga folktales but this is just my point of view on not acknowledging our naga folktales but to accept our only saviour i.e Lord Jesus 👍🏻
Hi! Some companies may have policies that prefer employees with a more "conservative" appearance, as their business environment requires individual to maintain a particular professional image. I hope that helps 😊
