I have an Electron Wheel for my bike. After two years, it needs some repairs. As a bike wheel, it obviously starts to rattle itself apart after a while! Here's a quick video about how to repair rattling batteries inside, and parts of the housing that might come loose.
(Hmm, Electron seems to have gone bankrupt, all the more reason for DIY repair videos I guess. Too bad, I love my electron wheel it was a really great product.)

Print a clamp to hold the batteries in place!

I love my electron wheel. I bought it used off of ebay and dont know how much previous use it had. When my batteries do die, do you think I can have radio shack replace the dead batteries? (Electron is out of business and unreachable) thanks for any info.

You could definitely try. I imagine you'd need to match specs.

No. My pedal sensor died from a rain storm I couldn't get out of and I gave up on the whole system. I have ideas on a repair, but haven't tried them yet. Honestly, I have been enjoying riding with no e-assist now that I'm back in shape and don't really have plans to go back to an ebike.
