Gotta tell you Stephen my 10 year old granddaughter has a problem sleeping most nites she calls me and I walk her through it kinda like you do… I only started listening to you a few months ago, so last night I told her about your app and she listened to it for the first time last night and it worked!!!!! She went through the relaxation meditation and into the story but didn’t remember where she/you left off I was so happy for her and thankful to you… Keep up the great work you do I know how important sleep is at any stage of life but especially for a young and very active child. When she called me this morning she was very excited to tell me how she liked the app AGAIN thank you so much from this grandma and granddaughter ❤
Hello from the beautiful island of Cyprus. Recently, I came back from my other country of origin, Calgary Alberta, Canada. I have been listening to your stories for a long, long time . But in this early morning, hours , 2:37 a.m. and as I am suffering from a harsh jet lag, I found this story the most interesting, fascinated story. I am not upset, I am not anxious because my eyes do not want to close shut or to drift off to a deep sleep. I am awake, and I love it. Thank you.
This is such an amazing and beautifully narrated story of your trip to Sicily! You are so blessed to be able to travel all over Europe by car. We used to see Saabs once in a while here in California. They looked very uncomfortable. Poor Rebecca and Timmy!I was born in Germany after the war , my American father brought me to the USA, but my half sister still liv es in Vienna. Wish I could visit again! Thanks so much for sharing your experience to Sicily, played it again in the AM to hear it again as I always fall asleep soon after it begins! Much needed to help heal from my recent trauma of loses! Love from California ❤
You mentioned how you wish you could take a long foot journey to meet and talk to people along the way. But I think that is what you are doing with your sleep stories. People all over the world are being helped by listening to your voice and many in turn are communicating with you thru their comments. Thank you for sharing your personal story with us. I am so happy that you and Rebecca feel contentment with the life you lead. Becky in Alabama
Travelings by the transport appear on the channel not so often. That's one of my favourite sorts of your videos. Sometimes I can't fall asleep listening to a story if it's very, very cozy and calm. But if I'm moving somewhere by the train or the car I'm falling asleep quickly😊 Thank you very much, Stephen!
This was an amazing story that left me wanting more.❤ Please say there's more from Sicily🙏. I love the rain and ocean waves too. I hope you and your wife and your sweet Timmy thoroughly enjoys this time you have . I'm glad you didn't become a big Hollywood star because you wouldn't have the wonderful impact you have on us now. For most of us, dreams are just dreams but what is better than our dreams is when our reality turns out better than our dreams and we can see for ourselves that things turned out to be pretty amazing after all. ❤
Love this Christie thank you. Yes I’m going to do a beach story from Sicily I think and yesterday I was next to an amazing volcanic river and I recorded the sounds of it so I might use it in a story too. Thank you for your kind words 🙏🏻
Oh, hooray, hooray! I love all of your wonderful stories but this one was different in that it was you sharing an incredible journey with us, in a very personal way, which was so generous of you. Love, love, love this. A million thanks and thank you to Rebecca and little Timmy, too for letting us hear of them as well. ❤
I hope you are all right. Can you please make a cozy sleep story about a safe Christmas day. Just a story where nothing goes wrong. Just peace and Christmas joy. As someone who have had a lot of scary, unsafe and traumatic Christmases I would love to be able to fall asleep to a story like that on Christmas day. Maybe I can fall asleep imagining a safe Christmas evening. If it's too late to do it now, maybe you can do one for next year. Best wishes - A Loyal Listener
Another great nights sleep, thank you Stephen. I'll be listening again to this tonight as it was so successful I nodded off and want to hear it all! Your sleep stories are a godsend, they are helping me to have my best sleep possible despite a few chronic ongoing health conditions which affect sleep.
Love the shout out to Capt. Picard! Star Trek: TNG is one of my comfort shows & Patrick Stewart is such a legend. This story makes me want to plan a road trip. Thanks for another beautiful sleep story!
This is my story I've been looking forward to hearing and it's got rain in it too !!!!! ❤❤❤❤ I'm so excited for this one. I know it's going to be wonderful. Thank you so much ❤
Awesome !! My favourite is the Sleepy Hotel, as it make me feel cared for and very safe and everything about Paris ✨❤ Much love to cute Timmy and Rebecca too 🥰 Thank you !🌌
Hi Stephen, I was keen to hear this as I was born in Sicily. However I fell asleep during the relaxation. Thanks for all your work. Looking forward to the train story 😊
Thank you for this wonderful gift. We are celebrating Thanksgiving today in the states. I'm thankful for finding your channel, your soothing voice , Rebecca's music and Timmy. My Sheltie service dog says hello to Timmy. She listens with me at night and sleeps too. I slept peacefully as I was having mind chatter about the cooking plans. Love and Peace always Kat 🙏❤️ and service dog Happy 🐕🦺🐾🐾
I listen to you every night your voice is like a warm blanket. Plz can you do a story about dolphins and turtles without humans just nature with rain x
I loved listening to this one last night. This one and the one I listened to the night before about your train journey to GOA. I am currently reading a book called Stolen Focus by Johann Hari. I think these two videos are a good reminder of being in the moment, a state of flow. Over the past few decades especially, we are gradually losing this ability. With the bombardment of advertising, social media etc. Your videos seem to put me into a flow state and I am able to relax. This helpes greatly with chronic pain and mental health issues.. Thank you so very much. Also I have ALWAYS wanted to visit GOA! Could you possibly do a story about your trip there? Thanks to you and your family! 😇
This is one of my favorites! ♥️ What happened when you got off the boat? What is Sicily like? I would love to hear more of this trip! ❤ (And more about Budapest and Hungary, maybe on your way back). I would also like to hear more about your remodeling project in your 200 year old apartment. (Just mundane things, just getting things done is so relaxing). Thank you so much sharing your thoughts, dreams, and talent and helping me get through a very difficult night.
I used to live in a suburb of L.A. when I was young, and while I went into nursing, I had acquaintances, and a couple of close acquaintances, that went into acting/modeling. A couple were very successful. And while the finances were amazing, it was a brutal environment mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and in some ways, physically. Mind you, that was thirty years ago; no idea what it's like now. Long way of saying, glad you're doing what you're doing now!!
Another hit. I didn't find the newer videos; I'll have to go by name or in history section. Nevertheless, this one will be listened too again, want to hear the story about your family. Love seeing little Timmy, he's so cute and not yappy.
@@Stephen_Dalton thanks for your kind comments! It’s 114farenheit here in the HighDesert. We are ok, some how, lost my daughter last year and my best horse last month! A lot of sadness! Your wonderful stories help me sleep 😴! My Halfsister still lives in Vienna , where I lived til I was 5. Love to your family !
Such a great story! Thank You very much for sharing! I love the car journeys and the outdoor camping stories the best. You have an awesome voice! Thanks so much! Warmest wishes
In the spring of 1980, while hitchhiking from London to Crete to pick oranges, a Hungarian man on his way home picked us up in Germany, and we decided to take a detour and visit Budapest. It was our first time going behind the iron curtain, and the border was quite intimidating with a high razor wire fence and guards in watchtowers. An officer, whose uniform was impressively decorated with red stars, took one look at my multicolored hair and smilingly waved us through. We were very fortunate to be given a lift into the city by an English expat who gave us some great tips and brought us to a lady who rented us a room for the night. Wandering through town the next day, we came across a promising looking restaurant. There was an old guy outside with a grindstone for knives set up on his bicycle. He must have heard us speaking and saw an opportunity to exercise his English skills. Throwing his arms around my boyfriend, he warmly exclaimed, "I love you!" Inside the restaurant, the waiter treated us like we were respectable tourists, rather than a pair of scruffs with our bedroll kicked under the table. He brought goulash soup, followed by a large silver tray of samples of various Hungarian delicacies. We visited the old palace which was now a museum displaying the luxurious lifestyle of the precommunist rulers, including solid gold plates and cutlery just like in the fairytales I used to read as a child. That evening, at the bridge which crosses the Danube between Buda and Pesht, we were picked up by a lovely man, a veterinarian, who brought us to his home and gave us a bed for the night. He said that he had been wary of stopping, as there were government warnings on TV saying that hitchhikers were murderers! The only word I learnt in the Magyar (Hungarian) language is thank you, so "köszönöm" for sharing your roadtrip and pearls of wisdom; I listened while my phone was charging, and enjoyed it very much. I also love the ocean sounds and beautiful ambient music after the story finished. Now I have to try and choose another story to go to sleep to! ❤
Hi Steven! Forever love All your wonderful and beautiful stories! At first I found your speech a bit too slow, but you’ve now become perfect! Also if I may, I love rain, however I think it would be amazing if you ventured off into maybe some gentle winds or even howling winds, maybe some jungle or birds, or leaves rustling in the wind idk there are many relaxing beautiful nature sounds besides rain or ocean. Please and thank you? Much appreciation and gratitude for your work and consideration!!❤❤❤
Hello Stephen, how are you, I was listening to this story last night. I was thinking I'm Irish too, 💚, I have sheepdog lassie too, and I'm an only child too. Only children like to be independent .
Just a suggestion, this has probably been thought of before but how about a travel series where you travel back in time the way Christopher Reeves did in the movie “Somewhere in Time”? 🤔 Time Traveling Sleep Stories. Your stories are wonderful. ❤️ Thank You!

"Hello my friend" makes me smile every night. We all need a good friend to tell us sleep stories. 😊
I totally agree with you!
Always know I can rely on these videos to help me relax and rest when my military partner is away. Thank you 🙏
Stephen, You've been helping rest, reduce anxiety, and sleep for the past few weeks. I enjoy the quality and warmth of your videos.
