I hope anyone reading this, wherever and whenever that may be, that you may find relief and happiness. ❤ The world can feel lonely and cruel at times, but we got this! I am cheering for you.
I honestly have to say that I have never made it all the way to the end of one of your stories without falling asleep! So you are quite obviously great at this! And with as much stress and anxiety that I myself feel on a regular basis just melting away and leaving me that relaxed to fall asleep in 10 minutes or less is AWESOME!!! Thank you for providing a wonderful way for everyday people who are dealing with all the tension and worry that comes with living in this crazy world in these crazy times to unwind and feel peaceful enough to close both eyes and slip away. And for me to find it in a natural way instead of drinking or drugs or prescription medications is 100% helping me live. I couldn't sleep for a long time after getting clean and was afraid to try medications because of my addiction, so instead I found sleep stories and guided meditation and it works so awesome for me!
Wonderful. I am 6 years sober from alcohol myself and life has just gotten better with every passing year. I wish you well and I’m very happy that I get to play a part in your recovery. Stephen 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for these stories. I have had sleep issues for years, but was recently rediagnosed with ovarian cancer, I have been listening to your healing series to help me get to sleep, and trigger my bodies healing response. I start chemo on Monday but hope these will help. I've gotten to the point that I drift off in minutes. Bless you and thanks again.
Lisa, I hope the chemo did its magic. I had breast cancer in 2009. I was the first woman to opt for Cyberknife radiation after my surgery, and I'm here to say it was a great way to go. It was originally created at Stanford University for inoperable brain tumors, and it got every last little bit of the cancer. I hope you're doing well. With love, Susan in Seattle.❤🩹🔮🪄🧸
Hi Mr. Stephen Dalton. Your voice is perfect for bedtime stories. Masculine and comfortable, yet no so rough or baritone that it becomes distracting. I’ve come to rely upon your stories every night. My problem is that I’ve never gotten to the end of your stories. 😂 My problem is your success and your repeat listener. Good on you! Thanks you for the sleep I get now.
That was wonderful Stephen. I was one of the folks who suggested a farm story. Thank you so much. Of course I fell asleep before I could hear the whole thing. LOL I have been having the best sleeps listening to your stories. You have had a profoundly positive effect on so many of us. Also, the wonderful guidance to sleep you offer spills over into a much a calmer day. 😊
I love this story.. reminds me of my Aunt Betty who had a farm outside Larne in N.Ireland..she had the most handsome Bull ..a sow who had 12 piglets.. turkey's.. geese also a pair of Lambas..an old rescue Donkey called Charlie... wonderful child hood memories ❤️
I'm going through a lot right now but as I'm awaiting therapy it's so incredibly nice to be able to tell myself that I'll be on Sleepy Farm tonight ❤ Thank you for every one of your stories.
Dear Stephen. My name is Alejandra McBride and I am a children's book author based in Chicago. I discovered your channel while trying hypnosis videos to fall asleep. I am a master of insomnia and have a busy brain. Finding your soothing stories was a real blessing. They are not only effective to put you into a deep sleep mode, but they also draw a smile on my face while you talk. I really enjoy listening over and over to the Sleepy Bookshop, The Sleepy Hotel, The Ancient Library but my favorite is The Sleepy Farm. I guess because my picture book's characters are talking animals. I have to say that your writing skills using the 5 senses are brilliant. The way you describe things so meticulously is something that I enjoy and try to do myself when creating content. I wish these stories could be available in Spanish for my family and friends that live in South America to enjoy as well! So THANK YOU for doing this for your community of readers and stubborn non-sleepers. Looking forward to a story about Timmy :) Happy Holidays!
I’m a full 30 seconds in, settled and comfy, ready for the relaxation countdown and the sounds were SO good, I popped up, pulled up my sleep mask and grabbed my phone because they’re that good and I wanted to say thank you! An owl!! Nighttime sounds from nature!! I thank you so frequently, I don’t want to begin sounding like a Fan Girl, but I’m definitely both a fan and female, so maybe I am, but at least I’m discerning as to whom I appreciate so much! At least I’m a huge fan of someone who makes such a difference to so many in something so vital as sleep! 😅😍 Okay, after that burst of joy, I’m climbing back under the covers and returning to farm and “Hello, my friend”…
thank you for making these videos. i’ve been listening for about 2 months now and have been meaning to tell you how much your videos have helped me fall asleep when my mind is racing. i’m able to focus on what you’re saying and i’m actually able to relax. thank you and i hope you’re able to continue making these for years to come. 💕
Bro you have helped me so much, I have intense panic attacks and anxiety at night, its the only alone time I have and it was starting to make me sleep less and be even more tired, thanks to you I can sleep, my brain can be calm and I can enjoy beautiful stories and journeys, than you so much for that 💖✨
Thank you for all of your stories, they really help me sleep most nights. Just wanted to let you know that there was an advert at the end of this one today… not sure why coz that hasn’t happened before. I was asleep enough that I just stopped the advert and went back to sleep. Thank you again for taking the time to write these stories. Take care my friend
I love your sleep stories. They have helped me so much in the past few months! I would love to hear one about the Scottish highlands, and the scenery and smells there! Thank you for all that you do. It truly is appreciated and I will continue to be a religious listener 💙 (or sleeper..) bc I never make it more than 1/4 of the way through but I always go back and listen multiple times!
I so love your stories I have two wee westies hamish and hettia and I play one of your stories every night and they send me and my two dogs fast asleep every night thank you so great full ❤
What a wonderful sleep story! The perfect combination of describing a cozy, peaceful, beautiful place in a soothing voice with calming background music. Is it just me or is your voice getting even slower and quieter towards the end? Wonderful! Thank you so much!
Hi Stephen 😊 This sleep story, have become one of my favorites, and I listen to it very often. I just wanted to say that I would love if you maybe could make a part 2 sometime 🙏🏻❤️ I love your work 💐
This sleep story is simply beautiful. I needed a nap in late afternoon and so I listened to the story and felt much refreshed. I will later listen to another beautiful story. Thank you, your stories are simply purr-fect!
I'm so sorry to hear that depression is such a burden. It's something that I also suffer with. Keep listening. These wonderful Videos with Stephen's soft, compassionate voice definitely do help! ❤
Dealing with Depression isn't a sprint. Like my CIDP, it's a long, slow marathon. One moment, one hour, one day at a time. I have Depression as well. I find the one thing that makes me hang on tightly, my kids, and dig in my mental claws. Look closely and find that one thing and know you aren't alone.❤
Mr. Dalton your sleep stories are absolutely the best. I have been able to train myself to go to sleep within 15 mins!! I have been so successful that I told my doctor. He is passing your name into other patients who have trouble. Thank you and keep the stories coming! 🌹
A little different theme but I like the variety in the stories you present. Thank you for providing something to relax and shut off the day to get to sleep.
Thanks for the incredible quantity of work you continuously provide. So many of us are lucky to have you in our lives as a quiet caring coach into dreamland. I try and recall your voice when I need reassurance that insomnia isn’t what deserves my attention. not tonight, ghosts, I’ve got Stephen Dalton 😊
I love your sleepy series, the hotel, farm, castle, keep them coming! Lake, river, jungle, mountains, forest, beach, cabins, chalets, underwater, cave? ❤
I have a farm and live in the woods and am so so excited for this 😍 im a few minutes in and bummed that there is no rooster 🐓 but I get why The Sleepy Farm would want one as they would wake everyone up! Love and appreciate your sleep stories 🙏 Goodnight 😴
Your sleepy series is one of my favourites you; 🤗 the other being the 'A night in Paris, London, New York...'. 🙂 But your sleep stories in general are fantastic.💁🏽♀️ So happy to be back on your channel 🌷 to enjoy your sleep stories and to drift off to sleep. 😌 Thank you very much 🌟 for your dedication 🙏🏽 and hard work Stephen. 💕
For the past week or so I have been listening to you, I absolutely love they way you present it all, from the relax and unwind part at the beginning, the stories, your soothing voice and the background music (rain, waves, train etc) it’s a wonderful combination of everything good. Thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos. As Christmas is fast approaching can I recommend a video where you talk about decorating a Christmas tree? 🎄 maybe talk about the colours, the textures etc? Just an idea I think might be nice ❤
Hello Stephen! I can not thank you enough for this story. You've recently become my favorite bedtime routine. I haven't commented yet, and I apologize for that. I'm usually so ready to get to sleep! This sleepy farm is my favorite so far. I also keep listening to the "First Christmas Tree." I really love that story as well. Oh, I can't forget about the road trip story... I love that one, too! On a personal note, for some reason, I have trouble relaxing whenever your stories have piano in the background. I'm not sure why, but it startles me and agitates me. When I hear it, I will skip until I find one without that sound. I have a sleep sounds app that I play airplane and rain sounds along with your story, which keeps me asleep. I know there are probably listeners that love the piano, but for me, it doesn't work. Anyways, you're truly a gift to all of us! Thanks again!
This sounds lovely, looking forward to snuggling up with my cats Loki and Dilly tonight and go on this adventure with the animals in this story, thank you Stephen, I appreciate what you do to help people like myself to have a good night's sleep 🙏 💛
It’s not very often that I listen to your videos for more than 10 minutes at a time, because they work so well- But this afternoon I actually did, and I noticed that you have named a duck after me in this story- How amazing 😍 And then yet again thank you for your fantastic work making these videos to us, they are highly appreciated ❤
Dear Stephen. I would love to listen to a Rovos Rail (Pride of Africa), goodnight story. It’s a wonderful combination of train 🚂 traveling, safari, culture and gastronomy. Love all your train stories ❤
Thank you Stephen I really loved this one..I love them all thank you very much 🙏 Wishing you and your family a safe and happy healthy propsperous New Year🙏🌟❣️
My granddaughter and I love 😽 this one 🐶 she loves the animals 🦆 and enjoys telling me which animal is next 🐮 she likes daisy the cow the best 🐎 however she loves the sounds too 🐖 she wants to say thank you and could you do a Zoo...plenty of animals for you to choose.. merry Christmas 🎄 xx
Hello Stephen, I have tried 3 times too listen to the Sleepy Farm, but what I did hear (💤before drifting into a beautiful, deeply restful sleep) reminded me so much of a 17 acre farm I owned, just outside of Yosemite National Park, at 2,500 feet elevation, from 1980-1989. It was the most idyllic 9 years of my life, and there was NO rooster! haha I had a 5,000 sq ft vegerable garden that produced some of the best food I have ever eaten. My tomatoes were started indoors, and only put out when there was no more risk of frost. They were so incredibly flavorful, I would put up dozens of Mason Jars full of these magical tomatoes 🍅🌱 with sprigs of fresh basil, and other delightful natural flavors to make opening them, months later, an OMG experience. It never seemed to matter how many Mason Jars I filled with my peeled and lightly stewed tomatoes, they would never last until the next years tomatoes were ripe. The flavor was incredible, and my Copper pots and pans from France hung on a wall in my kitchen, always polished, and so stunning. My mother had studied at Le Condon Bleu in Paris when I was 5 years old. And every meal was like a 5 star restaurant. And all my life, growing up, dinner was served at 8 or even 9pm, even on school nights, it had to be dark out, 🌌and there was always a white table cloth, linen napkins, Sterling silverware, and French wine, freshly cut flowers, candles, a fire in the🔥fireplace, and soft classical music! 🎼 And never in my life was there a milk carton or even a jam jar on the table, everything was properly served... and later, in my own home, it was the same, except for the white table clothes, I used beautiful place mats, elegant stainless steel flatwear from Germany and crystal glasses! (Maybe I missed it, but I would love it if you wrote about eating onion soup at 4am at Les Halles in Paris! The smells and the soup were to die for.) When my father later took me to some amazing 5 star restaurants, he always managed to get me into the kitchen to meet the Chef and I too became an incredible cook. I even took a one year crash course in culinary arts, from 7am-9pm or later, for a year before moving to the farm. It wasn't so I could learn to cook, it was to learn all the little tricks of the trade, so I could do in an hour, what used to take me 5 hours. When I moved to the mountains, I helped a little restaurant in Mariposa open. I only made the soups and sauses and salad dressings, but as the French know so well, those are the 3 things that make or break a restaurant. I took my own magnificent Chef's knives and blew the owners away, I was the highest paid person working in the restaurant. It was the only "job" I ever had in my life. I had started painting, in oils with my father, when we lived in Paris when I was 5. I kept painting and studing art, 🎨 and by 19, I opened my first art gallery in San Francisco. I now have my oil paintings in Museums from California to New York and in hundreds of private collections, worldwide. I am still a professional artist at 76. But now I use oil based colored pencils from Switzerland and England, and do beautiful portraits from my hospital bed in a nursing home, in Seattle. Thank you, once again, for transporting me back to one of the happiest times in my life. With love and gratitude,❤ Susan PS... Maybe you could go back in time to Les Halles in Paris, (Les Halles was founded in 1135) and the most amazing onion soup in the world: slowly caramelized onions, rich beef broth, day-old bread croutons, and a hearty portion of Gruyère cheese. Les Halles was so incredible, but I just read it has been moved out of Paris, that would be an amazing step back in time, Sleep Story!🧅🍷Novelist Emile Zola would call Les Halles “the belly of Paris.” (Nearly 25 acres, Les Halles was the World's largest food market.) For references: bronasbooks.com/2019/04/21/the-belly-of-paris-by-emile-zola/ 🥐🍷🗼www.vice.com/en/article/kzp3mn/the-curious-history-of-french-onion-soup-pariss-timeless-hangover-cure ❤⭐❤
@@Stephen_Dalton Thank you for your kind note.❤ I'm feeling really frightened, I've had CT scans, blood work, and UI tests, all really bad and suggesting I have a serious kidney infection, but NO ONE will give me antibiotics! Your voice just started, good timing! ❤
I finally spent 19 hours in the ER being tested for everything under the sun, then spent 4 days in a private room in the hospital getting super powerful IV antibiotics, but I have to go back for surgury when I'm strong enough. Your stories make such a huge difference, I had you in the hospital with me, reading me beautiful stories. You are truly a magic healer and just what so many of us need, when life gets really scary... or just too hectic to turn our heads off and get the rest we desperately need. Bless you Stephen! 🔮🪄🧸❤🩹💫
This one is perfect. I'm slowly working my way through your videos and this one is the best so far. I mean, I'll have to listen again as I was asleep well before the end lol
Revisited this video again. This is added to my shirt list. Right up there with Secret Garden. These are very good for late afternoon meditation and relaxation.
Was thinking a ZOO would be lovely to do in this sleep series 💤..could you link all your sleep ones together to make a continuous series that will play on after another?? xx
I’ve been listening to this all week… after the count down the only thing I can remember is that there are no roosters. This one does it for me. Maybe one day I’ll hear more…😂 I enjoy most of the videos I’ve heard from you, but tend to stick with a sleepy train ride.
Terrible broken sleep and crazy dreams since Friday night. Anyone else? Falling asleep has been amazing however. 2nd time trying to get to the end of this story 😂
Hello Stephen, firstly, a heartfelt thanks for all u have done and continue to for us ❤. Last night, for the first time ever since following you, I was very abruptly awakened by a very shrill and piercing advert.... I'm located in France. I'm not sure if u r aware of this or if any of your other subscribers are.
Hi Anna, thanks for listening. The ads are beyond my control I’m afraid. They appear randomly. If you want to guarantee that no ads appear then I would recommend TH-cam premium, or when I start my patreon again at the end of this month you could become a patron and listen ad free. Sorry that you got awoken. I wish you peace. Merci. Stephen 🙏🏻
Reminds me of George Orewell’s novel, Animal Farm, except for the talking animals and socio-political theme. Would be interesting to hear what animals would say. Maybe something like the underwater one you did but with dolphins that talk or on land with a dog that talks. My puppy is named Toto from the Wizard of Oz, he’s a little Bichon Frise. I just started making videos of him on TH-cam, he’s doing quite well haha. His latest video of him dancing with his bone has almost 20k views as of now in just a few days. I often wonder what he would say if he was human;) 😹or perhaps what Timmy would say on his travels. I also like how you say to rest for tomorrow will be another beautiful day ❤
Hello Stephen - I recently found your channel and really enjoy your stories! Love the topics, the relaxation session at the start and your voice is lovely. It has really helped me. I've been sharing as well with friends who struggle with sleep issues. But I was listening to the farm one last night and was woken from a deep sleep maybe a hour or so into the story by a loud ad - 1st if 2. :( I don't think this has happened to me on your channel before. Sadly it took me hours to get back to sleep again and without a story just in case there was an ad. I know creators of this wonderful content need to earn a living and I don't mind a few ads at the start - but right in the middle kinda kills the whole point of the exercise doesn't it. 😣 Not sure if you can do anything about it.. but sharing with you nonetheless. Lynn And thanks again for all you are doing
Unfortunately the ads have awakened me in several of the videos. The first time I had the same reaction as you & was afraid to listen again for a while. I still get interrupted occasionally but quickly pick up my phone to skip the ad & have been able to go back to sleep. But the first time it happened was very startling.
Hi there, Yes I’m sorry about this. This is a situation that is beyond our control. It is across all of TH-cam now, All I can say is that perhaps you could try setting the timer? Or maybe leave me at a lower volume and the ad won’t wake you? I’m sorry for this and I wish you peace 🙏🏻
I hope anyone reading this, wherever and whenever that may be, that you may find relief and happiness. ❤ The world can feel lonely and cruel at times, but we got this! I am cheering for you.
I love seeing comments like this when I'm having a hard time in life. Thank you!
Blessings to you. ❤

It’s not very often that I listen to your videos for more than 10 minutes at a time, because they work so well- But this afternoon I actually did, and I noticed that you have named a duck after me in this story- How amazing 😍

With love and gratitude,❤
Susan
PS... Maybe you could go back in time to Les Halles in Paris, (Les Halles was founded in 1135) and the most amazing onion soup in the world: slowly caramelized onions, rich beef broth, day-old bread croutons, and a hearty portion of Gruyère cheese. Les Halles was so incredible, but I just read it has been moved out of Paris, that would be an amazing step back in time, Sleep Story!🧅🍷Novelist Emile Zola would call Les Halles “the belly of Paris.” (Nearly 25 acres, Les Halles was the World's largest food market.) Thank you Susan, you write so beautifully. I love this idea. I got your emails. I will respond soon 🙏🏻🙏🏻😊
@@Stephen_Dalton Thank you for your kind note.❤
I'm feeling really frightened, I've had CT scans, blood work, and UI tests, all really bad and suggesting I have a serious kidney infection, but NO ONE will give me antibiotics!
No rooster ❤
Was not expecting that 😂😂😂
We love you Stephen ❤❤
Thank you so much for sharing your stories✨💫✨
Thank you so much!!! I love what you do!❤❤❤
This one is perfect. I'm slowly working my way through your videos and this one is the best so far. I mean, I'll have to listen again as I was asleep well before the end lol
Thank you for helping me sleep....😊
I love these ❤❤❤ I hope you are taking care of yourself too ❤
You're very creative, your asmr quality is amazing. Thank you for the effort 🥰

Youre a big help Stephen, keep it up!
Absolutely love this one! My older kids grew up on a farm
Just beautiful x
Revisited this video again. This is added to my shirt list. Right up there with Secret Garden. These are very good for late afternoon meditation and relaxation.
Short list...
Could you do a Christmas sleep story please? Would be so cosy for this time of year ❤
Hi Olivia, there will be many many Christmas stories starting from December 👍🏻
Was thinking a ZOO would be lovely to do in this sleep series 💤..could you link all your sleep ones together to make a continuous series that will play on after another?? xx
I love this one so much 🙏 ❤ 😴
My Grandad's name was Walter, and his wife, my Grandmother was Mary Lucille! And yes, they both grew up on farms in Missouri, USA.
Amazing
Thanks!
Thank you for your kindness Holly 🙏🏻
I’ve been listening to this all week… after the count down the only thing I can remember is that there are no roosters. This one does it for me. Maybe one day I’ll hear more…😂 I enjoy most of the videos I’ve heard from you, but tend to stick with a sleepy train ride.
Hi Steve how about a sleep story about an Animal Sanctuary with each animal telling their story of how they got there or a Donkey Sanctuary...xx
No rooster! I so often fall asleep during the countdown that I just now discovered this. Hee hee.😅
You should do sleeping beauty. When all the town people fall under the spell and slept
Can we get a sheep sleep farm!? 😍😍😍😍😍😍 Thank you!!!
Terrible broken sleep and crazy dreams since Friday night.
Anyone else?
Falling asleep has been amazing however.
2nd time trying to get to the end of this story 😂
You tell the best stories I never heard, 😂, I always fall asleep before hearing the stories. Thank you!
I also like how you say to rest for tomorrow will be another beautiful day ❤
Thank you for all of your lovely comments. I see them all, fellow only child 🙏🏻😊
Also he has set up his channel to NOT have ads in the middle of them. I think TH-cam is doing it anyway.
@@beckypadgett9672 Thanks - yes I'm certain SD would prefer this didn't happen.
Have a suggestion can you do a night in NewOrleans ?
How do tou shut off the ads in settings
Could you do one with wild mustangs
❤
On a Pacific island
I love to lesson to you.
