Yes, it's an education focused Chromebook so a great choice. Note, this gen 3 300e didn't get the 'Yoga' branding from Lenovo, but the new gen 4 300e does have it. I have a tablet and laptop from lenovo for years. I kind of want to experiment with a chromebook. So far lenovo has had a good track record when i pruchase their products. The 300 and 500 kind what im looking for. May give them a try.

Yes. Not 100 percent of apps will be compatible, but it's pretty decent. I find it most useful for games, otherwise I'm generally using the Chrome broswer for the full website rather than the app.

I might think of getting this from amazon as when I got a chromebook with better battery life I spiled liquid on the trackpad causing it to always be clicking, im rn on a spare chromebook I had that had bad battery life to use until I get the 500e gen 3

I havent checked the other comments but i wonder if you could plug two cell phone chargers into both sides if it will charge faster because misplaced my charger and using cell charger it says it will slow or no charge. 2nd Gen is an older different model. Are you looking to buy one? I'd maybe review newer options if possible with this 3rd gen being the minimum to go for in 2024. There's also a 4th gen out now.

I would highly recommend avoiding a Windows device with an N4000. Even a Chromebook now I'd say minimum N4020, but with Windows being a much 'heavier' operating system means this will not be a great experience, a bit of a false economy. Could you stretch your budget slightly? I think it'll bring you better value.

However, it's most likely only going to be the most functional if you uninstall the majority of pre-installed windows applications, such as paint 3d. Other than that, great for basic use like light gaming, homework etc

Hi, not a dumb question at all, Chromebook model specs can be a minefield. So first step, check this video I made recently and look up the exact spec of your model: th-cam.com/video/dHgKl4eMwIA/w-d-xo.html Your MTM no. is on the bottom of the machine if you don't have the original advert. Check the 'Pen' field. my model is 82J9000TUK and if you look up the 'Pen' section there it'll say: "Lenovo USI Pen (Garaged)" where as I imagine yours will say: "Pen Upgradable (Purchase Separately)". The good news is that all 300e Gen 3 will be compatible with a pen, whether you have the model that comes with one or not. BTW 65W only does 15v at 3a so it will charge your chromebook the same as a 45w charger as I has a look on my 65w charger for 15v
I'm not sure as it allows the more rapid recharge.
