I went through your Amazon deal and ordered a okuma rod, I know you don't get much but I want to help out as much as I can because I do enjoy these videos, I'm sure you spend a fortune in fuel because I know I do. I live at least a hour in any direction to a decent spot. Thanks again for everything your doing!!!

Okay catfish Dave I just watch the video that was recorded back in November of 2018 I enjoyed that video you caught a lot of blue cats even the smaller ones that you caught they were still good fish down here I've not hooked into a blue cat in a long time I live in North Georgia and most of them that I have seen here is as you call it Dad blasting channel cats so anyways was a great video and I really enjoyed it that inspires me I think I'll look and see what would be be preferred bait to use for blue cats here in Georgia thanks for the video I loved it and thank you catfish Dave for being a fisherman

Not too far from you come fish lake Cumberland in Kentucky. One of the toughest lakes to cat fish. 90 percent on the lake is straight bluffs to 50 70 100 foot deep If the water stays high like 2020. Most years. Dramatic water level rise and fall. Good video.
I would love to catch a 20 Lb Catfish, but I know that there is a Michigan State Record Flathead swimming in Catfish Alley. One guy was fishing 5 miles of river last Saturday. Dagblasted rain all weekend. Might as well watch some Catfish Dave videos.

Alright Catfish Dave. While you have crappy too-hot weather to wow us with those monsters, is there a science to the way you backup and set the hook? Sometimes you take off heading away from the lake almost in a run. Other times you hardly back up at all. Is it a slope / gradual change in lake to shore depth thing? Alright that's my question. I've enjoyed watching your videos for over a year now. Anyone can NOT do this. Keep doing what your doing!
Any body can do it but not many ppl want to do the work it takes to do it. Getting bait finding spots ect. Ppl want us to do all the work and then take them

Deer hunting is way more exciting and takes more skill.. much more challenging. I catfish during deer season and yes they are for sure on bank spots
