- BMW Team Schnitzer Motorsport qualifying the 2004 BMW M3 GTR at the Nürburgring in preparation for the ADAC Nürburgring Nordschleife 24 Hours. Pedro Lamy is qualifying the BMW M3 GTR.
The #42 car, driven by Dirk Müller, Jorg Müller, Hans Joachim Stuck and Pedro Lamy, became the E1 Class winner and overall 24 hour winner at the 2004 ADAC Nürburgring Nordschleife 24 Hours race.

I like his driving style compared to Hans, calm and know when to overtake. I do this a lot in assetto corsa too since my brain cant keep up with fast cars. Both drivers did a good job driving this legend. ❤
Hans’ drive was more casual. Also, Pedro was 30 when he drove this lap and Hans was 53.

The car sounds amazing but after 2 laps I imagine it gets painful for the driver. Imagine going full speed on sixth and you have that whine giving you a headache.
100%. The definitely used ear plugs for the noise. Not only the noise, but the vibration from the engine through the chassis. It would get very tiring on the body.

He drives carefully and barely clip the kerbs, but it's very very clean drive. But still Mr. "Strietzel" Stuck did better cuz he attack each kerbs available

Man old GT Cars do feel like a bit more intense Cars rather than now
Modern GT racing is really intense and epic. Watch GTOpen, Nurburgring 24, NLS, Spa 24, Belcar, Le Mans 24, ALMS, Bathurst 12 hour.
I don't think it is any more or less intense. Just modern cars, basically the same platforms and foundations as early 2000s

Pedro Lamy can go really wild when there are no cars on the track!
To me, It feels like Perdo Lamy is more of a rookie driver, compared to Hans Stuck or Jörg Müller. I think, that he doesn't push car hard enough in some corners (maybe he's afraid of oversteer or something else) and some gear changes from him seemed to be mismatched at some corners (of course It happens a bit with every driver, just to say that Hans or Jörg are much more precise at this point)
It was cold and track was still wet generally. He was not a rookie driver then, and he does go pretty fast in some turns, despite being a wet track.
