they didnt steal their exact style but bone definetley had their ear to the underground. they took bits and peices from mikah 9 style. just like ice cube did to volume 10. Volume 10 and mikah 9 are the top mcs that everyone has bit from whether you know it or not.
Bone were kids when their first album came out and they definitely rapped fast af on that album.

Freestyle Fellowship is probably the most diverse style wise of any hip hop group ever ...Maybe Step Child or the Roots could compete but that would be about it.
Bro i think you are wild n they only put creeping on a come up and n est 99 eternal out with eazy the only album they had before that was faces of death, which came out when they were in Cleveland. It didn’t come out in LA. It was an underground local Cleveland album called bone enterprise. They weren’t even Bone Thugs-N-Harmony yet.
Myka9 and the Fellowship are true inventors of styles. Myka speaks on this, but he is a true gentleman and doesn’t sweat that they stole his whole style. He created even more styles. There is so much circumstantial evidence!✊🏽🙏🏽🇲🇽🔥
Actually they didnt rap like that on the first album. And faces of death was not horrible for a first album by teenagers. But yes More Harmony came Later but yes after hearing mary.. it sounds very suspected. But if Lazy n Kray took from Fellowship... then Bizzy took from (Snow) Flesh took from ( Paperboy) and Wish ( SPICE 1 KINDA)
Freestyle Fellowship never said they stole their styles it was Abstract Rude who told them to leave his style alone. Freestyle Fellowship and Bone never had beef or anything to do with one another.

Bone was sing/rapping and harmonizing on thier first underground album “Faces Of Death” that was recorded in 1992

that's incorrect. please point out which song / songs exactly? if i remember correctly, they do rap fast on it but it's not the melodic fast rap they got known for eventually.
@@RawAddict of course they didnt do it as much as thier later albums but the did use melodies on the album like Bless Da 40 Oz and We Be Fiended, and Def Dick. Again, It may not me all melodic rap throughout the songs but the do use melodies in the songs which was a glimpse into what they’d become

Nah, that isn't factual at all, even though I understand the comparison. Bone Thug's first group album was created when they were still underage teenagers. The album was recorded between 91-92 (Bizzy said the earliest songs were done in 1990), and Bone gained local success from it.
The project later had a remastered commercial distribution release to select CD stores across the country in the mid 90s, AFTER Bone already had two mainstream projects out, and it initially confused many fans. You can tell a lot of time had passed, considering how childlike their voices were, not to mention the low quality recordings and outdated production. According to Bone members, the guy who worked with them on that project was shady, delayed their music/underpaid them, and as a result, the group never worked with him again. The group still talk down on him today.
Also, Eazy didn't find Bone. Bone found Eazy. After they released the underground album, Bone moved to LA in early 93, lived there for half a year, promoted their music all over LA, gave it to execs, and went door to door to different artists; even brought it to Tone Loc's home. Bone finally connected with Eazy at his office via the receptionist after many failed attempts, Eazy then returned their call, and Krayzie Bone rapped for him over the phone. This is the rap that was done, from a song Bone made in 1991/1992.

Eazy asked Bone where they were from, they said Cleveland. He told Bone that he had a show coming up in Cleveland, they then got on the bus to go back to their hometown, opened the show (due to their local success), Eazy missed their performance, so several members snuck backstage, met Dj Yella, and Bone rapped for Eazy again. They headed back to LA soon after and signed with him/Ruthless Records.
Even in the lyrics for Bone older songs, they mention the year (1992, for example). Many Bone songs below were recorded and released before Freestyle Fellowship's "Mary" (released in 93), and those songs definitely had origins of Bone's style that everyone grew to love after hearing Thuggish Ruggish Bone in early 1994. It simply isn't accurate that Bone didn't sound like Bone before Freestyle Fellowship's record.
Prior to their success, the group wasn't rapping in a "We Are Bone, We Are Bone" style, as you indicated..however, I know you merely used it as an example to state that their style was completely different--but that wasn't the case at all. Bone's style was Bone's style, but to be expected, as they grew older and with better production resources, it evolved even more. Bizzy was only 14-15 at the time of their earlier group songs. The other members weren't too much older either. The point is, of course the foundation of Bone sounded like Bone, even back then, before their prime.

Freestyle Fellowship and Bone Thugs both incorporated a Reggae/Dancehall hybrid in their Rap delivery, as did many other artists during that early 90s era of Hip Hop. Freestyle Fellowship was more Jazz/Spoken word with their delivery at times, while Bone style was more R&B Soul/Doo-Wop/hardcore delivery meshed with a fast or slow flow. They were double-timing/tongue twisting/melodic back then. The beats were just a lot more uptempo. The G-Funk/West Coast Era of production took off in early 93 (not that you aren't aware) shortly after The Chronic release, and it changed the landscape of the sound of Hip Hop.
Lastly, Bone lists their main influences as NWA, Big Daddy Kane, New Edition, Temptations, Luther Vandross, etc. If anything influenced Bone's sound after they were signed, it was the laid back West Coast beats and melodies from their in-house producers. I'd say it was more complementary of their sound than anything.

The originators of speeds and this style in general ARE Hip Hop Clan, especially Ellay Khule! BEFORE BONE THUGS N HARMONY, BEFORE TWISTA! People don't even know hip hop history and roots.

They will repeat like a broken record but they this and that blah blah like no one looked up Bone story. Freestyle Fellowship spoke on this and it’s true bone got influenced by that Mary song and put they own flavor to it. Krayzie sounds just like Myka 9 it ain’t no shocker to me that was a dead give away. And freestyle fellowship are hella innovative with different style of rap they very multidimensional rap wise. When Creepin on ah come up came out they didn’t sound like their first tape faces of death. They can rap and sing ain’t no one knocking that but ppl don’t understand these guys ain’t original like they say they is.
Dude creeping on ah come up was throat songs from 91-92 and 90% of east 1999 was already pre-written just didn't have the beats. If you watch a sin interview from the graveyard shift he explains WATCHING Krayzie bone write neighborhood slang himself on the porch in the early 90s and that didn't drop until the art of war album. Those guys had been harmonizing and utilizing that style but it wasn't as polished on the faces of death album. Just like to number one assassin or def idk.

You said it yourself, "it sounds like Bone" Bone is original... they were still in the streets in Cleveland after recording their first album with Eazy. There's a rare video of them kicking it under a street light with homies (poetic hustlers) and them kicking their flow straight acapella. It can't be faked man... still hasn't even been perfected to this day by anyone but them... FF is dope no lie, and although them and Bone sound similar it ain't the same. Even the beats and their lyrical content is different besides the weed content. But at the time who didn't talk about smoking weed...

Listen to flow motion: they had plenty of singing and fast rapping . They were young and not fully evolved.
Secondly Bizzy Bone mentioned freestyle Fellowship in an interview as another different “pyramid” as finding a similar style.
Lastly Krayzie Bone this month was asked about bone stealing FF flow in an interview and he didn’t even know who FF was.
Bone does not have one style, it is a lot of different flows. They did songs like first of the month which were completed BEFORE they signed with easy
