- On today's show @AaronTorres discusses some interesting comments by Matt Rhule, that explain why Nebraska football is set to RETURN TO GLORY in college football!
Coach Rhule has an amazing big picture view of the program and where he wants it to be. At the same time, with his experience, he's coached almost every position in football. He's pushes the players to be their best and has set a high standard. Add that to his communication and people skills and we have a winning combination.
AD Troy Dannen and Matt Rhule are both cutting-edge futurist what the program should and will be for the present and the future going forward.
Well as far as big games go next Friday they host an Illinois team that should be ranked by then. It’ll be another night game too

I think Rhule is great for us. The Chasing 3 youtube series gives you a great inside look at the program, an unprecedented look really. It's very early in the season and frankly the hype worries me. I think it worries most Husker fans. We've been leet down too many times. I see a lot of national media hyping us up but locally we are all cautiously optimistic. Definitely not expecting to make the playoffs but happy to still be in the drivers seat 2 weeks in which hadn't been the case for several years.
Let’s remember, Nebraska doesn’t belong in the big 10. It killed all of those Big 8 rivalries. The energy we saw on Saturday was like time traveling. Nebraska was America’s team that night. The whole nation wanted to see that beat down.

Nebraska absolutely belongs in the Big 10. Especially when you look at the complete athletic department and academics.

He’s recruiting Omaha. I have been to many games. CU had no idea what the energy would be like. I have been to many games since 1980. The foundation is still solid. I wanted CU to win however Husker football is in my blood. Thanks for your coverage. CU needs to look at how it’s done here. Might help

Coach Rhule took the Temple Owls in 2015 and 2016 to 7-1 records in the ACC, and over 10 wins both seasons. They had many tough teams those years. How many coaches can do that? I deem the man a legend, period, it's not debatable as I see it. Temple is not a football power by any means.

@@Hope-Vision I don't think he will leave for anyone except for Penn State. Nebraska finally has people in the right places and they better pay this man because he is worth every single penny. Unfortunately if Penn State calls I think he will go. Have you seen him talk about Penn State? He met his wife there, you can tell he really loves that place. No question they are our biggest threat

I rarely post on these videos, but I have to ask. Most of you college FB commentators were/are Coach Prime supporters. I think it was blatantly obvious from pretty much the beginning that his approach was not going to work. Why did so many think it would? Or are they just mesmerized by or scared of Prime for some reason?
He's a good Coach at this level. And Nebraska will support a winner. If I'm the Colorado BOT's and AD I'm questioning some recent decisions.

Well this isn't Nebraska fans saying that, it's a guy in a TH-cam video. We are realistic and would be happy just to be in a bowl game this year. I think we have a good team but it's way too early to know.

People need to slow down on Nebraska, Nebraska has a great nose tackle like Nash, but Georgia literally has 9 players built just like him.
We Huskers fans havent had much to cheer about lately. What UGA has going on took years to build.
No one is comparing this team to Georgia. We are just happy that they won their first 2 games. That hasn't happened in a while. When Georgia wasn't winning, they weren't selling out every game. We are different.
So very true. 4-5 years ago Frost was stating we were one player away. Anidst the horrid OL, I was stating we weren't even one OL away. Our program has another 2-3 years of development of the OL and DL to get that 3-4-5 deep position rotation that even when an elite OL moves on it's truly "next man up". That mantra is not the current team. It is trending up, but has not arrived.

I don’t see Georgia on the schedule this year though.
I do see OSU and USC and both are road games and both we won’t be favored to win.
The rest of the schedule is manageable.
9-3 / 8-4 is very possible, even likely.
10-2 or even 11-1 isn’t completely ridiculous.

As a Huskers fan, I think Rhule isndoing a good job so far. I also think he won't finish his contract at Nebraska because he doesn't stay anywhere long.

Coach Ruhle has stated this is his last coaching job and I’ll take him at his word.
He sees that golden goose here. If he can get to and maintain playoff contender teams, win some big10 championships, a NC or 3. He has a lifetime job.
The difference is Nebraska is a Blue Blood program, if he’s successful, which I think he will be, he’ll be here for the long term. Great coaches don’t stay at mid-level programs, those stops at Temple &. Baylor are resume builders for bigger jobs.
