  • Heisman Trophy winner, Eric Crouch, joins the Carriker Chronicles! Adam & Eric have a good time joking around, but they also get serious when Eric talks about how Matt Rhule's building the program, how it just feels DIFFERENT & makes him smile. Eric also offers his thoughts on the early success of Dylan Raiola (why that'll probably continue), Shedeur Sanders CALLING OUT his O-Line & Nebraska being ranked!

      @@TrggrWarningTalent was dispersed a lot more throughout the country then. The recruiting success wasn’t as limited to a good portion of the southern college teams as it is now. Now, the SEC & Big 10 dominate college football. Conferences like the Big East & PAC-12 don’t exist for a reason. The ACC won’t be around 5 years from now either. At least Nebraska moved to the Big 10 when they did.

    9:56 The original version of “what happened to Notre Dame last Saturday” occurred November 18, 1978, 2 days after Eric was born (I wasn't born until 9 days later, although my due date was November 10; my mom apparently said “this baby better not come during the [Nebraska/Oklahoma] game): a week after Nebraska’s first win over Oklahoma since Tom Osborne took over, Nebraska lost to Missouri.

    • @andrewcramer9200
      @andrewcramer9200 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I mean, Missouri was not a directional school from a mid-major conference, they were a team that played hard and physical (or even downright dirty) against Nebraska and were coached by former Husker player and assistant coach under Bob Devaney, Warren Powers. I was told by my parents, although I can't verify this for sure (and Warren's dead so good luck asking him) that he was a little bitter about not getting a shot at the head coaching job at his alma mater. He took it out on Osborne at Wazzu and then Missouri in back-to-back years.

My point is that a team is more likely to lose the next game after winning a big game. I like what I have seen out of Dylan. Tho he has not played a True Rivalry game at Nebraska and likely never will. I do not think we play OU when he is going to be here. We have played no one. And we have had WEAK 2nd halfs of games. We should not be in the top 50.

    Shedeur was making excuses for his play and why he wasn't able to perform better and that if he had NE line he would have thrown for 500 yds. instead of 188. Its still game to game and we have to win the next game, just don't even need to go to are we going to be 7-0 going into Ohio State. Last thing yes, we need to get our in-state players if they are good enough but we need to continue to bring back former players and use them as recruiting tools and have them talking with recruits.

    Now I know Dylan is more a passer but some time in his career will he train wreck an Iowa defender like Crouch did😂🤔

    Eric was a Ram for like a week. He was mad and crying that they wouldn't make him a QB, so he quit. Yes he quit. Not a great guest, because I remember when he got hurt, had a thigh bruise and just never toughened threw it and quit. Just saying.

    I grew up idolizing Crouch. I was a QB bc of Crouch. I had to downgrade to RB my senior year for recruiting, but imagine Crouch QB skills in todays NFL

    IMO Eric Crouch and his ball hogging carries, lack of pass ability and turnover margin (see and compare to Tommie, Brook and Scott) are part of the downfall of NU football. Glad they are starting to come back. Maybe Eric can pout back to Omaha again.....nobody will chase him this time.

      Wow, can't say I expected to see such a negative bad take today. Lol.
      What a loser.
      Crouch is a legend, put respect on his name. Stop it.

      Crouch carried a team going downhill in overall talent. What happened in 2002? Your football IQ needs an upgrade.

      Whine Whine Whine. You had your chance. 28-10. Coulda been worse for ya. You'd better be concerned about CSU. Go Rams
