  • Hey, guys so we are here to tell you about the 10 worst tractors of all time, Tractors are often rated as "worst" in terms of performance and dependability. Problems with the engine, gearbox, hydraulic system, fuel system, and electrical system are all possible. Other problems that may contribute to a tractor being labeled "worst" include poor design, overheating concerns, weak hydraulics, frequent breakdowns, and oil leaks. Finally, the abilities required to judge if a tractor is the "worst" are determined by the unique problems and issues that are typically connected with that model.

Agree. Ì grew up with Massey Ferguson's in the 60' s and 70s . During a period of that time, the MF165 and Ford 5000 were the most popular tractors in the UK. My uncle had an MF165. We had an MF178 and a MF185. Also, an MF65 & MF35. All good reliable machines if maintained properly. My personal favourite of the 100 series was the MF178, as it had power steering, unlike our previous 'big' tractor the 65 ,( now regarded as a small tractor today !)

I have been a John Deere guy all my life and I noticed there wasn’t one single John Deere tractor that made this list. It certainly isn’t because John Deere never made a tractor that didn’t have issues, because they certainly did. The 2010’s and 2020’s had build quality issues and weak hydraulics.
The Farmall H was a huge success for Farmall and ate a hit seller yet today. Many like them for parades and tractor rides. They have great road speed and are economical to run. Not to mention easy to maintain and work on.
I think this video is very biased and could perhaps have done a better job of putting out content.
Sorry. I can’t give you a thumbs up for this one.

I've been around tractors my whole life. My father sold AC's from 59-82, I lived on the farm using M's, A's, H's, Cases, Allis, Deere, IH's, etc. When your father is a tractor salesman you get a lot of them. Still have a 1720 and a 6610. All tractors have issues and I know most all of them. The D17 DID NOT COME OUT WITH A 3 POINT HITCH. It came out with a SNAP COUPLER. Standard 3 point was on the series 4. There were 3 point conversions available for the other series. This list is laughable at best and pathetic at worst. It looks like a book report from a 3rd grader.

The Oliver 1650 is a great tractor and in solid demand even in it's advanced age. But, the Oliver 1655 is a different story especially with the diesel engine. After about 2500 hours the engine would lose a rod through the crankcase. If you have an Oliver 1655 with around 2500 hours you need to pull the engine and put new crank bearings in it and replace the connecting rod cap screws. it seems the cap screws stretch with use and lets a rod fly loose.

Update,1. My grandfather had an masey Ferguson 35 gold belly, it always worked as far i van remember, there was only one breakdown with it, on the 3 point hitch there was on the left a hight adjuster that snapped in 2 one time. Bud besides that it never had any problems what do ever.

I have a Ford 1710 four wheel drive, never had an engine issue. Only electrical issue was a voltage regulator that corroded up. Replaced the front axle seal after having installed a front end loader, but the seals were probably dried up because the tractor only had 24 hours on it when it was 15 years old. I have about 1200 hours on it now, and the only mechanical issue I have is the clutch is wore out, and at the end of its adjustment.

But as far as I know we had no problems on any Ford (2000,3000, 4000, 5000, 6000 and 7000) nor on Massy 135 165 and 185 in Europe. The only trouble shooters with loanworkers I know was the New Holland combines and John Deere tractors. NH bailers also kept on running. We had a bunch of Fords running. So tell ya, I was a lot oon New Holland combines. First we had that small Clayson. In fact a prototype of a combine. Then some American came to Zedelgem and took that factory over. It was then called NH-Clayson. Then it became NH. On these series once harvesting weath above 18 degrees of moist meant slow picking bro cuz those combines tend to stuck pretty fast. Maybe that is the reson when driving them in at night some belts should be replaced/.. I had an old Ford Dexta and drove is generously during 10 years, once changed the oil. It went and went and went buddy.

Allis Chalmers D series lack of synronized gears so changing gears requires you to nearly stop the tractor dead. and I also never understood why Americans drive without a cab. Can you imagine in winter?

Cabs really never arrived in the U.S. until the early 70's and at that point they were quite primitive most times without air conditioning and sometimes no heat.

The most inaccurate depiction of tractors models and pure nonsense having not even a hint of anything about any of these tractors problems 😆 the blind leading the blind

Hope you liked our effort????? What effort? Do you even know what a tractor is? You started with the 5000 Ford. One of the most dependable tractors ever built most of what you said was pure BS. Then the Farmall H Not Case-Ih. And again you have no clue. All I heard was stupidity. Then Allis-Chalmers D series and Oliver 1650 along with others. Where's John Deere? They made a couple of the worst. Nope, I didn't like your NON effort! You don't have a clue.
