I was thinking wow she’s really good at plastering. I don’t think there’s a easier way to do it experience people do it faster because they do it all day but you’re just chugging along. Excellent job.
I am sorry someone has taken claim to the music. I"ve always thought you had the best background music! With that being said, I love the natural ambiance of your world, no music needed.
I don’t think it’s boring at all watching you drywall and plaster. You always seem to make real progress and that’s satisfying to watch. Thanks for sharing your journey.
So happy for you about making friends. It can be tough at the countryside. I remember I made my first friends at the swedish countryside while aksing for help. My car got stuck in the mud. My neighbours pulled me out with their tractor. The car is long gone but the friendship stayed.
You are so brave to do this remodel. It must be then strength of every Scandinavian. Can’t wait to see your home when it’s all done. And you can sit back and enjoy some free time, with coffee and some knitting.
Hello Anna, my wife and I always sit down for a moment when your new video is online. Your house will be beautiful! The use of second-hand materials particularly appeals to us. Greetings from Henk & Tineke from the Netherlands.
Anna, I’m sorry a greedy and unethical person has claimed your music! I liked it. I have huge respect for your “ just get on with it” attitude and how you move on from a disappointment. I myself would have been ranting and raving and plotting revenge in a huge state of turmoil over it, to no purpose. Bravo. Your outdoor photography is just beautiful. Your property looks much like northern B.C. 🇨🇦 where I live. Winter holds such beauty, even if it is a bit minimalist compared to summer. I have been wondering about your wily rodent roommate, the rat…Any sign of him giving up and moving out? ❤️
You made me laugh so much Rita 😂.... how would you react , if you found yourself in the same situation (about music) as Anna! I'm gonna have to admit, If I didn't have a heart attack right away, I'd probably be plotting revenge for the rest of my life! 🤣🤣🤣 They say, elephants remember the longest..... well almost as long as scorpios! 🦂😆 What a waste of time and energy. 😁 Anna is amazing, I enjoy her attitude and relaxing vids.
Not boring at all! I do some drywall and plastering so I know how fulfilling it is but so tiring. I grew up watching my dad build houses so some has rubbed off thankfully. Keep up the great work and I love how your home is shaping up. Cheers from Canada!🇨🇦
There was definitely some raving and ranting happening here too 😂 Then I guess I would just have to accept it or try and fight it.. And fighting it seems impossible, soo... No sign of the rat what so ever. Hope it has moved out! Say hi to BC from me, I lived on Vancouver Island for a couple of years, ages ago. Amazing place! 💛
Hi Anna, You're videos are so relaxing to watch. Your plastering is really impressive. I find watching videos like yours very motivational. It's such a shame about the music, but I hope it doesn't cause you undue stress. Keep well.
I loved the music you used it was different and gave me that "feel good" feeling while watching! I do understand the cold weather. We are in USA Alabama which is south also. We have been frozen in for a week and here, it rarely snows etc. So it has shut down most areas. I love you "can do" attitude. I am inspired. Thank you for posting a video weekly
Yes!!! Finally english! I used to watch your videos but never understood them because I dont speak Swedish. So I stopped watching them eventually. Now I found out they are in English. So happy, thank you for that!
Awesome glad you had time with your dad and friends they are so helpful and awesome. Junk that someone tried to make money off your work. Supper cool the way you responded to that with a positive approach. Stay Safe and warm Evey blessing to you. This Mom is cheering you on!
Love the progress and your approach: calm cool and collected. Dad is pretty cool too. Your definitive style will be used upstairs I imagine, look forward to seeing the colour scheme there also.
I've just discovered your channel and I already love it. I haven't yet seen all videos or read all comments, but still: I recommend you getting a cat (or two) when you're (mostly) done renovating indoors. Cats are perfect hunters, but more importantly they scare rodents away. If you want to prevent the cat from hunting birds, build an outdoor "catio" with cat walkways around (parts of) the house. In my opinion it's "mandatory" to have cats in old houses. That is, if you're not allergic and you actually like cats, of course. Anyways, I'm rooting for you from Norway, and looking forward to keep following your progress and everyday life 😊
Such a fun video! I enjoyed the excursion to town with you. So glad you got a lot accomplished, and had some help in the process. Looking forward to your next video.
It’s so satisfying seeing all the progress your making can’t wait to see the end result, is it getting warmer inside with plastering nearly finished? P.S I loved the music, who would even think of taking it and copyrighting it.
I am thrilled for you with the progress that has been made in the attic. I have enjoyed seeing this happen. I cannot wait to see it finished with furniture looking like a real cozy bedroom! I admire what you have done! I guess your feet are not cold but I think they are!?! Thanks for the visit and see you next time! Stay warm!!!
There are some nasty greedy and dishonest people around unfortunately, I do hope you manage to sort them out and get your music back. Your dry walling is awesome 💪🏼 😊
Interesting that you put the plaster over the whole sheet of sheetrock. We only cover the tape, then sand and paint. Builders here see no need to do that. Your attic is coming along nicely. 🙂
Another great video, I’m now up to date having binge watched from yesterday when I found you. You are quite hard on yourself , give yourself a break! You’re doing a great job with all the renovations, we can’t possibly get everything right first time! How boring would that be? As they say we learn from our mistakes, even you are going to make a few along the way! ❤
Very good work Anna!, I even finish learning how to plaster drywall. I'm a tenant at the moment, so makes me happy to see people like you building their future:) By the way, I play guitar. Cheers from The Netherlands.
Anna you talented is to be commanded you are doing a great job be proud of yourself as for the music when you become successful there’s always someone who wants a piece of the pie as some Americans say as for your attic’s bedroom try to keep with light color so you don’t feel the space is small enjoy your life and thing your home is going to look wonderful and it shows 👏to anyone who has the courage and patience you kids have simply amazing 👏👍
It's certainly a little late for this but in Canada people usually plaster only over the nails and joints. That cut some plastering time but also cut on the sanding time. Then paint over all the drywall and plaster area. You did a great job plastering it all! 👍
But since you had to cut sheets in smaller parts, plastering only the joints or everything wouldn't make a big difference. Being able to use the whole sheets would have speed it up but alone and in an angle like you had to do is, we'll, very hard to impossible. So kudos you did very well in a though circumstances. 🙌
All in all I have probably spent about the same amount of time on putting up to boards as doing th plastering now.. But I also get lost in time in my little renovation bubble so not sure 😄
It would be wonderful if you could get a group to come help - even if just for a day - so much could happen! You are doing an amazing job and I hope the music issue gets sorted for you soon.
Hi Anna! You asked so I decided to answer as a professional. If you want the job to go faster you can use the selfahesive fiberglass tape, that you put before plastering - much cleaner and less annoying than using the tape that needs to be plastered in. It's a bit late now for that but maybe next time you could use Casco Wallfiller for first coat. You have to mix it with water but the huge advantage is that you can make it more running so it's much easier to spread on the wall. It also dries much faster than Medium Spackel. For the second and even final coat I can recommnent Rullspackel from Beckers. You apply it on the wall with roller (the coarse type, for rough surfaces or yellow sponge kind of roller) and then spread it evenly with a wide spatula. Remember to clean the surfaces and prime it before painting. I usually buy a grundfärg and mix it with primer for the best result. Good luck!
That's all great advice, I still have one "room" left to do in the attic once I am done with this part, so there will be plenty of plastering happening in the future! Hope I can get a hold of the products you are mentioning 🙏🙂
Wow such a great progress! I love your videos everything is so intentional and slow but in a good way. I saw somewhere that they were aplying like a thinned out plaster with a roller and then leveling it with this long trovel like a meter long one, it looked quick 😊

So will not be calling them out anymore. We are still putting the humane traps down and for now they appear to LOVE the honey and maple syrup coated peanuts and cashews (I bought them for me at Christmas I was not impressed so they are welcome to them) we have caught 3 so far now yay 🎉😊
Anna you are doing a great job...don't think ill have the nerve . Something took my attention ! Your front door seems to be on wrong side, ...would make better cense if it was other way round .Dont know if anyone has bought this to your attention . As you come up steps you have to go to other side to unlock door then walk around. It always looks awkward .....Keep up the good work.. Love from Australia xx
That is something I have thought about too, especially when opening the door for guests who get the door in their face! But if I turn it around I am afraid it will hit and break the windows... 🤪
I'm chuckling about the mouse trap you check on time and again. Did you ever see 'droppings left behind to positively ID a rat? Could the mammal be too big for the trap - perhaps a weasel or a raccoon seeking shelter under the house?
I was thinking wow she’s really good at plastering. I don’t think there’s a easier way to do it experience people do it faster because they do it all day but you’re just chugging along. Excellent job.

Drywall hanging and finishing is never any fun but the results are almost magical, so it’s always worth it.

Your downstairs is so beautiful and comfortable. I love how it turned out.
Tip! Rullspackel + en bredare spackel skulle göra jobbet en hel del mer effektivt :) Tvätta även spackeln efter att du är klar med dom ;)
Tack för tipset!
Great job with the drywall🎉🎉🎉you go girl. Doing this all by yourself is a big job.
Another great video, I’m now up to date having binge watched from yesterday when I found you.

So happy to see your video. Great work. Love your cabin. So cute.😊
Hello Anna I have been watching all your videos so far and must say enjoy them very much . Stay warm from cold Canada! We are bitterly cold here too.

Mit Begeisterung sehe ich deine Videos an. Hab schon drauf gewartet und freue mich auf das nächste...❤
I am not sure if it is the power of editing, but it looks like the plastering is going faster than hanging the board. You do great work.
All in all I have probably spent about the same amount of time on putting up to boards as doing th plastering now.. But I also get lost in time in my little renovation bubble so not sure 😄
You’ve made so much progress in your attic! Looking really good!
Love plastering but I do it old world style , swirling shapes , also love Dad !!! He's sweet !! ❤
Good luck ❤
I am going to tell him that 🙏 He sure is a gem!
@@annasgmlindgren yay !
Looking like a real nice room upstairs. Great job!!!
makes me want to plaster. i have a wall that is waiting.. you are doing it like i do.. love everything you do. thanks
Not boring at all, great progress. Sorry about the music hassles, I loved that music, and I hope you get the copyright thing sorted x
It would be wonderful if you could get a group to come help - even if just for a day - so much could happen! You are doing an amazing job and I hope the music issue gets sorted for you soon.
That's exactly what I am hoping for 🙏 Thank you for the support!
Love your videos. You’re doing a great job.
You are doing a great job, love seeing the progress you are making, you're going to have a lovely cosy home. ❤🇬🇧

In Rio de Janeiro is 46⁰ celsius, is nice watching cold weather😊
Wow, that sounds rather warm.. But at times I would definitely want to switch ☀️
@@annasgmlindgren you can come IF you want.
joli travail
Wow such a great progress! I love your videos everything is so intentional and slow but in a good way. I saw somewhere that they were aplying like a thinned out plaster with a roller and then leveling it with this long trovel like a meter long one, it looked quick 😊
Nice work. If you can afford it someday it would bede Nice with at Velux window In the attick

Hi Anna, I suppose someone already mentioned earlier, but the gypsum boards are to have lines scored with sharp knife then snapped. Not good to create so much dust with the jigsaw, and also no good for the blades. Heath and safety first!
You may have already mentioned this and I forgot - but what are your plans for the stairs to the attic? Spiral staircase, leave it as an attic ladder, or something elae? PS - love the work you've accomplished and appreciate your style.
Thank you 🙏 I am planning on keeping the ladder, there is just not much room to put in a proper staircase.
Well done!!!! You are so energetic! Looking at you and want to do something in our bungalow as well. We done a lot in last years ourselves- driveway, fence, wallpaper, painting, decorating, in garden. ... Covid and partners cancer had other plans. But we will continue...

You’re doing a great job with the plastering. It’s too bad you couldn’t pop in a couple sky lights (windows) in your bedroom. Love watching!❤😊
I would love that, maybe sometime in the future 🙌
Bravo , quel taf !
Huge progress this week 🙂x

Bonjour juste une question . Vous n’habitez pas votre cabane pendant vos travaux , vous habitez en ville ? Car vous auriez trop froid .😮
