It goes up when I hit the gas but will drop right back down when I let off. I have not been driving it until I fix it. I start it from time to time but it seems to be getting worse. I have not started it in quite a while but I imagine the oil quality has degraded while its been sitting because of the M1. Needless to say I will be going over it in detail when I start working on it.
I believe its my bearings. I am holding off on pulling the motor for now. I would get yours properly diagnosed so you know what the problem is for sure. It could be different than mine.
The "W" in 20W-50 stands for "Winter" not weight.
After running it on the street does the oil pressure get less than 12 psi?

Have you changed valley pan gasket yet and always use a gm filter.
