At the end of Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed, a blue light is seen floating towards the newly reformed Aionios. This is extremely similar to the end of Xenosaga Episode III, where KOS-MOS is seen floating towards Lost Jerusalem
@CircuitReborn DEUS gets created further in the timeline. Being that we are seeing KOS-MOS that would put the Xenoblade games as the second arc. The next arc would be when DEUS would be created and when the intro cutscene of Xenogears would be happening.
@@zakuguriin4521 According to Future Redeemed both the Eldridge and the White Whale were Philadelphia-class arks, so Deus was most likely a construct made on old Earth, similar to the Aegises; in fact, the way Deus taps into the power of the Zohar/Conduit is eerily similar to how the Aegises operate. @@zakuguriin4521 If u know, u know. Would be epic a remake of Saga and Gears, but its almost impossible. As fans anyway we alrady knows since the beginning.
That's really amazing to see. I never played Xenosaga but if they now actually connect, it makes me want to find out more about Xenosaga and a new sequel. Also seeing Xenosaga's ending, you really can see a sun and both a blue and "yellow" planet which you also see in XC3's ending. Awesome!
Xenosaga was planned as a 6 part story being the story of Shion the first 3 games. Xenosaga is an incomplete story. It lacks half the content. Also, the first half is kinda incomplete as it lacks the missing year between 2 and 3. It was suposed to be part of 2 but takahashi offloaded that game to newer devs and they didn't delivered. Also, I highly doubt the original Xenoblade was suposed to be part of Xeno metaverse. That was retcon at Definitive Edition and Xenoblade was fit inside the Xenosaga lore therefore explaining why nobudy knows Lost Jerusalem (aka Earth) location. Klaus experiment pulled Earth into a pocket dimension and in the future both Xenoblade 1 and 2 versions of Earth came together to revert Klaus experiment. At the end of Xenoblade 2 I though that it was the outside of the pocket dimension just for 3 to show that that was also in a pocket dimension. I really would like to see Xenogears fiting into that lore... really. But I think that is just wishifull thinking.
The crazy thing to think about is if anything would have happened if Iwata didn't suggest to Takahashi to use "Xeno" for what was originally just called Monado.
Xenogears, Xenosaga and Xenoblade are all connected . They just aren't fully connected due to copyright stuff, but Takahashi and his wife wrote this story years ago when they still worked at Square. It was a space epic that was gonna span 10s of thousands of years.
Xenogears shares the same lore but is not canon as Xenosaga and Xenoblade is now. Maybe SE some day allow it to be... Xenogears is a very hard game to tackle today. I highly doubt that it'll ever be touched again.
Goosebumps at the end! Never played Xenosaga growing up (too young for it) but I did end up playing it later down the line and this just makes me so happy and validated. Seeing that the Team still hasn‘t forgotten about their previous works
I am IMMENSELY excited on what's to come next, are we actually going to see a game that's simultaneously a Xenosaga 4 and Xenoblade 4 at the same time?
Now I understand. I am unknowing.... I have to play Xenosaga. I recognised the Vektor logo on Klaus memorie but I didn't notice it. It's just Lost Jerusalem. Pls port for the switch and in GERMAN !!! I hate my knowledge of English. I wish I was better and could understand everything even better
Youre all missing the point. Xeno=Forever. Xenoblade and saga ended at 3 and what? Ironically the endings of both with references to each other are just some cute fan service and on to a new game? His life IS Perfect Works. Period. The original story. Nobody has ever created a detailed universe like that and just let it go due to IP. He had growing pains with saga and the Square management and finally proved it can be consolidated into numbers 4 5 and 6. All executives respect him and the story and even FF7 took many details from his original script. He is Crono Trigger. btw I cannot believe how perfectly timed that last shot was with Kosmos entering Earths atmosphere and it coming from the corner in Blade...and the timing of the piano.
I haven't played Xenosaga yet, can someone tell who is the one talking to Kos-mos when the credits are rolling because it sounds just like the Alvis Japanese VA.
@@markasscop thank you for taking the time to reply but, i was referring to the one that tells Kos-mos good night. I found out that it is Chaos and I don't know anything about him xD
Fuck no Xeno lost it's identity now xeno games are just generic shounen games. Xenogears and xenosaga had deeper and well thought out theme's with horror and sci fi vibes.
for anyone waiting for a connection to another series... yeah, not happening, Takahashi has stated multiple times that while he likes to make references to all xeno titles, he makes an emphasis that each world is unique and different, heck he consideres X it's own unique franchise, which there have been even rumors that it was not a xenoblade game in the beginning but in pure nintendo fashion they slapped the name last minute, so yeah, other than the ocasional cameo, the stories will not be linked in any important way. ....And you know there's the small, little detail that the Xenogears franchise actually belongs to Square Enix and Xenosaga belongs to namco-bandai, the reason we got Kos-Mos and Telos in XC2 was because namco-bandai lend the characters.
Difference is that even then, Xenosaga was not in the licensing agreement for XB2 even with KOS-MOs and T-elos in those games, but they are in XB3 Future Redeemed.
@@godzilla4189 they actually credit namco-bandai because they don't own the characters, I don't remember the name exactly but there's a video explaining the whole takahashi history on how we get to xenoblade, it's quite fascinating, but long story short the main reason we got xenoblade was exactly because takahashi couldn't use the xenosaga IP, just like he HAD to create xenosaga because he couldn't use the xenogears IP, heck he was ready to drop the "xeno" moniker all together calling it "monado" at the beggining.

This would explain why Lost Jerusalem became lost in the first place, it wasn't there, it was displaced into the Xenoblade 1 and 2 universes.
