Here is another video of the dip technique. I used dioxazine purple, light rose gold and white. These turned out so well; they are some of my favorite pieces! I did two small 8" x 8" canvas and then a couple of sets of coasters. I keep on practicing this technique and I feel like I learn something new every time. I keep my paint a little thicker and using the palette knife this time helped blend the colors without making things too muddy. I hope you enjoy this video!

An interesting method with good results and I LOVE the music - So many videos play annoying music which takes away from the relaxing nature of this process - I also like the fact that you do not constantly comment on what you are doing

Hi just a tidbit. Put duct tape on the center or off center on the disc so you have handles to lift them with. Then peel off when you are done. Beautiful work!! Thank you for sharing.

I saw THIS TECHNIQUE done yesterday where she did a large white area and then lightly drizzled about 6 different colors over it... THE ONE~TIME DIP CAME OUT AWESOME! She then dipped another smaller canvas (8x8). For her work area she used the Inside Of A Cereal Box (in Australia the boxes are white cardboard) So THAT WAS YET ANOTHER FREAKING AWESOME WORK OF ART! Sorry I don't know who She is off the top of my head (or the bottom, either).
I absolutely think this is one of the nicest and coolest painting I’ve seen. I really like the technique and there’s more paint for coasters. Love this.
Can you please tell us how you deal with the pain that’s on the back of the canvas? I’ve got a few like that and I know people don’t want from fingers messing up the back of the canvas. Thank you.
