Shelee Art BLOOM HACK!! I made one minor change and GOT THIS!

- The Shelee Art Bloom Technique is a fan favorite. It took the fluid art world by storm... Many people continue to struggle with finding there look. I'm here to help you with a hack tip I've never shared!
So if you haven't mastered the bloom yet you need to do this first.... Skip your pillow paint. You don't need a pillow to bloom, you need a pillow to move. ( WATCH THIS VIDEO: • #30 Shelee Bloom Acryl... ) You just need to test your recipes using 2 colors only (because who wants to waste paint). Find one that produces cells (remember I told you this isn't a beginner video). Here is a video on how to mix your pouring medium: • #71 In-depth Pouring M... I recommend only using quality tube paints... this is your Level 1 and 2 acrylic paints like Liquitex, Master's Touch, and Amsterdam. pigments and fluid acrylics require additional products and testing!
Watch this video for cell activator alternatives: • Comparison Of 6 Cell A...
Now you have cells but struggle with the blow right? Take a rectangle canvas (you don't need to use more than 3 colors). You have a recipe that produces cells so now the focus is strictly on blowing out the cell activator. I want you to create 3-4 blobs on your canvas layering your paints the same and start blowing your puddles out (of course after adding your cell activator) Try putting your hairdryer directly on top of the bloom to see what happens... Try different angles but record yourself to see the reactions. Try blooms with and without a hair diffuser. Look at this video! You want that helicopter effect. The ultimate goal is to spread your cell activator out as much as you can over your paints without digging into the pillow. Your diffuser may be directing to much force into your paints, not allowing the full potential of your cell activator to spread. Now we also need to look at our hair dryer. I don't thin k you need anything stronger than 1500 watts. Too many watts and your paints will be blown over. I have found much success with these small travel hairdryers with low wattage.
So just maybe you are just a few tweaks away from average blooms to spectacular blooms. Try this BUT REMEMBER to record and/ or take notes.

Fantastic again 🔥💝🌿
Love it! ❤
And You're so sweet person 💞🌼🌿🧞♂️💚
Thanks for the love!
What an amazing piece of work, sir Garrick 😍😍😍💜💜💜
Thank you kindly for the love!
"A Tale of Two Blossoms"...This is the first time I have viewed one of your demonstrations. I was very impressed, especially for a man with a sense of humor and jewels of wisdom to accompany it. I have all of my supplies purchased almost, now to find a place I can use for a studio until we move. I'm including in our home search an extra room or building I can use for a studio where I can keep all my supplies out of a huge plastic tote; and keep an easel set up all the time, too. I've always done still-😊😊lifes and landscapes. I never thought I would care about doing abstracts until I started watching all of you who have gotten a headstart that I can learn from!😊
Awwww this is so sweet. Great luck in you rnew home search. My next home must have a dedicated studio space. Abstract pouring is super therapeutic. I cannot wait to see what you will create. Thanks for the love and for watching too. Big hugs!!!
I'm gobsmacked at the beauty of this one, Garrick! Wowzer! It was great fun to watch, too...so creative! ❤
Chris!!! I hope you are feeling better. I appreciate the love so, so much. Take that bloom plunge my friend.
@@GarrickBrownArtStudio I’m I’m gonna have my friend take my truck 😅😊
Mr. Brown,
I absolutely adore your work! The colors in your paintings just pop and watching your videos has been such a source of inspiration for me. You're the first artist I've come across who encourages beginners like me to just get a large canvas and keep practicing. Your advice has truly made a difference. Normally, I tend to get frustrated and take breaks when things don't go as planned, but tonight I decided to try something different. I grabbed an extra floor laminate panel and just poured and blew, poured and blew! Each bloom improved as I went along. I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for your guidance and encouragement.
Warm regards, Roxane Gibson
Go Roxane Go!!! Listen practice is apart of this game. They will keep getting better... and I have a HUGE video coming out with my best troubleshooting tips. Sending you bug hugs. You got this. Remember small tweaks are key to understanding what you are changing.
I notice your paints are thicker than many other artist's and I like that. I lean toward thicker paints because I prefer the more defined colors and the way the ca holds up. If I want the watercolor effect, I can blow those in after.
Your color palette is delicous!
Thanks so much. Yes I think everything artist has to find their way with thickness and what they prefer. I definitely desire those crisp lines when stretching.
One of the best colour combinations I have seen.
I love your attitude 😅 thank you for sharing your experience and expertise
Your work is just incredible friend✨❤
Gorgeous!!! ❤ thank you for sharing the love! I'm spending so much love back at you! ❤🎉
These colors are stunning together! WoW what a difference in the blooms, but even though they are both different they are both lovely.
Thank you Mary! Here is a video detailing my new recipe: th-cam.com/video/yxzP3ZVMZfE/w-d-xo.html
Both sides are gorgeous Garrick. One of the things I enjoy most about fluid art is how a simple change can bring a whole new look. ❤❤
Mary this is so true. Folks have to be willing to experiment and make small adjustments.
I would love to learn this please tell me the names of the paintings and the basic materials used
I love your energy, vibe & teaching us how to succeed while having fun!
Couldn't agree more when I had my NDE I was told that we kept reincarnating to learn more and more about LOVE. You certain show love through the beautiful pieces of art you keep helping us create. Thank you❤

Thank you so much.
Beautiful blooms, Garrick. 💖 Both so different, just from a blow out difference. Thanks for sharing these techniques!

Thanks for watching Renee.
Love the embellishments - just tied it all together. Beautiful
Thank you Selma. One of my favorite pours in a long time.
Hi Garrick, what a great comparison! Both blooms, beautiful. I can’t do a bloom with the concentrator, it definitely helps with the cells. Thanks for sharing💜
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching! 🥰
Wow! That really makes ALL the difference! Amazing. It’s so hard to find a hair dryer that is the perfect speed. Not too hard but not too slow.
Yes you definitely have to okay abd when you find that special one BUY TWO lol
Wow. I love that each side is different and then connected. The colours are stunning. It almost glows. Beautiful. ❤❤
Thank you very much Kim! Much love. I'm sharing my latest recipe: th-cam.com/video/yxzP3ZVMZfE/w-d-xo.html
Love, love, love your channel! Clear and concise instructions. Love both of these paintings. Asthma makes my mouth blows weak but a blow dryer makes all the difference.

@@GarrickBrownArtStudio great, btw, I just love your easy going style and your videos always have little surprises with inserts or sounds, plus you create gorgeous pieces!💕
Both turned out so different ♥️

Thank you so much!!
Hey Garrick, great side by side demo. Your definitely rite by saying experiment with different methods of blowing out blooms. I love how this turned out. It’s gorgeous. 😍
Joyce thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed it too.
Both of these are beautiful but I love the color vibrancy of the first one best.
Thank you Sandra. Yes I lobe them both... So different.
wow! perfect! perfect! congratulations! I greet you from Greece.😂 ❤ 😮
Gorgeous! I use those colors a lot ...my fav combo! I don't use the diffuser for blooms...just use it for dutch pours because it pulls up the base coat and doesn't float the CA evenly. Great job my friend!❤
Linda!! Hey there friend. I hope you are well. Thanks so much for watching. Huge and love!
Hildaaaaaa!!!! I love you, so glad your back!!! 😂 gorgeous painting by the way.
Lillian she came back just for you my friend!! I will be reaching out to mail you your paintings this week and we'll be able to catch up. MUCH LOVE AND BIG HUGS!!!!
That's absolutely insane Garrick. So beautiful and massive. ❤
Justin, bro I'm still amazed myself. It's crazy what small adjustments will do. Much love bro for watching.
Stunning. “Monarch Heaven” ❤️🧡💛
First time watching your video I also took the the shellee art class and now that I’m watching you I’ve learned so much! Cheers❤
Yay!! This makes me happy. So glad it was helpful, and thank you for watching. ❤️
First, the colors are perfect. Never thought if adding ⚫️ black in the middle of colors. Then, the two blowouts. I can not pick a favorite one. I almost lost it with the marble. 😢. Glad you stopped. Gorgeous piece.
Lol that marble was about cause some major damage. Thanks so much for watching Betina!!
Gorgeous Garrick!!! I like using my blowdryer without the attachment as well. I like the cells i get plus i love the way the petals look. 🥰🤗
Vous eyes Un Tres bon professeur. Bravo. Merci.
Oooh, noice one Garrick, noice!😉👌
Awww thanks Klara 😊
Garrick Brown Brother thank you. You are my new favorite artist. Thank you for for sharing. I will be following you and be enjoying your art. Thanks.
Wow, thank you! Much love and I'll see you in another video soon!
It is always a pleasure to learn from you, dear Garrick! Beautiful!
Thank you Marisa! I hope you are well love.
@@GarrickBrownArtStudio I do my best to carry on with my bad health and my grieving for my husband. But art is my passion as usual and the colours keep me away from sorrow. Thanks for your concern🤗
Absolutely beautiful. Loved watching you all the way from New Zealand.
WOW Big Hugs! Thanks for watching.
Both are beautiful and I cannot choose between them.🤗
I loved them both too for different reasons.
Thanks for the tips, Garrick. Your color palette is gorgeous. Hugs. 🎶💞
This is my first time visiting you. I love your art and I love your personality! You made watching your video with such passion! I’ll be back! 😀
Aww thanks so much Susan! I hope you enjoy my content.
They both look great, but the first one looks amazing so that’s my first choice and even the second one still looks Amazing, I’d still have to go with the first one.❤
Thanks for watching love!
you got it one of my newest mentors!!! I’m watching this video again because I’m terrible at doing blooms!!! Like the girl before me stated, your instruction was very good!!! (I apologize, but I never even looked at who made that comment so I can’t say a name) I don’t get on often, so I watch repeats every chance I get and unfortunately this one is from nine months ago but I do intend on catching up with your site (channel). What time is your session on TH-cam and what day or days please.?!?!When you get a chance of course!!!🙋♀️😊🤗❤️
I love to watch the way you pour your paint, plus you are up-lifting
.
Awww thank you Marleen! I enjoy painting... It is my happy place. Much love.
The piece as a whole is amazing ❤
Thank you so much Julie.
As always just wow, also, you always make me smile 😍
I'm so glad! Big hugs! ❤️
Woooh c’est trop trop beau, quels magnifiques vitraux et toutes ces couleurs, magique. J’adore! 🫶💋

Just found your channel. Love your work. Will probably stay up all night watching your channel. Terrific work. Thank you
Awww Debra well enjoy and thanks for watching my friend. Much love.
All I have to say is absolutely beautiful. ❤
Thanks so much!
I have to admit, that at first I did not like the side-by-side bloom. I did not like it’s cohesiveness or the colouring of the second bloom. However, the end result is absolutely fabulous! I love minor manipulation she did and you’re pouring and tilting techniques I have an end result that is breathtaking!❤
Lisa thank you!! It still amazes me how the piece just transforms with minor tweaks. This one blew me away too. Much love.
Thank you, Garrick. Such a great tip/technique!
You are more than welcome Vonelle.
Thank you! 😉 Try using surgical tubing to blow with. 💋
Great Bloom Garrick! A big difference. Love the new Bloom. 🙂
Thanks Patty! Hope you have a great summer.
Awesome artwork ! Love this ! Thank You & Yes, Love is All that Is ! Thank you for the inspiration !
Thank you so much 😀
This is awesome!!!! Can't wait to try it myself.
Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing your technique.
You are so welcome!
Great painting! Love the color combinations you use. They are a cut above most other artists I follow. The line work you added really sets off the main work. Really like your personality also.
WOW CIndy! This means alot. I am blessed that I can share with you all. See you in the next one. :)
Both are pretty but I love the first one 😊
Yay! That's the great things about blooms they are all unique! Thanks for watching.
I bet Shelee blushes when you take your shirt off!!! ❤
Lol Idk about blushes but I'LL TAKE IT!! haha Thanks for the giggles lol.
Garrick!!! I love you! Your enthusiasm is infectious. Thanks for the beautiful painting and commentary. I enjoyed it very much. I own a crafting studio in Port Orange, Florida and we use that method without the diffuser also!
Terri awww thanks for your kind words. How often do you host classes? Do you rent out spaces for workshops? Please email me: garrickbrownartstudio@gmail.com BIG HUGS!
Wow you are the cell king my love
Thanks Lisa! It's been a long journey of learning but totally worth it.
They both have their place… Sometimes I like the first type better. It gives like a watercolor feel towards the end of the bloom and the center keeps more of the cells, but then sometimes you just want… Cell explosion and that’s what the second one does.👍🏼🥰❤️
It definitely comes down to preference. I love that look as well getting those long wraths of color. For me I like the balance of both. Thanks for watching Tina!
The second bloom is GORGEOUS. I mean, if you are paying for Aussie Floetrol, you better get your monies worth! Cells!!😊
I know that's right! When you break it down it is expensive but goes a long way. Nothing compares to Aussie Flow.
This beautiful, really vibrant! You are a very good teacher, clear and concise.
Thank you so much!
Love your art, your great sense of humor and your willingness to share! God bless you my friend!!
Thanks so much Danielle!! Big hugs.
Thank you for explaining everything. So enjoyable and a help
Anytime! I enjoy doing this Martye.
both blooms are so pretty. Just different results. Love them both for different reasons. ❤
Absolutely! I recognize people inevitably desire different looks. I think people just don't realize how close they are in the moment when they are frustrated!
they are both amazing!! It was so much fun to listen to you :))
Thank you so much for coming to visit.
Beautiful colors and form, your cool Man keep it up.
Thanks so much!!
Well, that turned out so beautiful and thanks for explaining the bloom. Have a blessed day.
Yay so thrilled you enjoyed it Gerri.
I ran across this video by accident. I have now subscribed to your channel and will enjoy watching more of your videos. This painting is INCREDIBLE!!!! It is truly beautiful. I love the colors and the overall composition turned out absolutely terrific. I have never done a blow pour but this has inspired me to try one. You do GREAT work.
Awww thus is what it is all about. I am so happy you felt inspired. Acrylic Pouring is super addictive but an amazing community. Enjoy and thanks for watching. ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful. Thanks for your ideas.
Thank you so much for sharing!! Love them both❤❤❤ But. 2nd is my favorite 😊😊
Mine too haha! Thanks again for watching.
What a difference! Thanks for all you share with us!!!!
Nancy isn't it crazy how one simple change makes such a difference. You are more than welcome. Stay tune for something else really good, really soon. :)
