I particularly enjoy your honesty regarding “failures” and the ability to fix them! It is so satisfying to see you work and watch the piece develop even if it means correcting it. You make everything look so effortless despite the time and energy you put in your work. I wouldn’t imagine that paint could be so forgiving and how you transform parts of an accident/incident into something so beautiful!

It amazes me when I do a pour for someone and they ask for pink and green along with a few other colors. What amazes me is how pretty pink looks with green!! I never felt the colors went together! My students usually choose purple along with pink and green whenever class does paint pours. One time the picture turned out so strange, clashed really, but we decided to do vases along with them and surprisingly, it turned out to be the most gorgeous pour the kids have done! And I do believe their mom still has it hanging in their living room! One of the students chose red, black, purple and blue this time. No comment, but the paint skin looks amazing! I think we will make book covers with it this year!
