However, I would say that making LMDh and LMH comparable is indeed unfair for the LMHs with higher development costs. And I’m disappointed that Porsche didn’t do an LMH, the 963 seems like a lazy solution, despite being one of the best among the LMDhs.

I was on the grandstand near the finish line for the final 25 minutes: so exciting, we were almost screaming of joy and then the Ferrari overtake at the final lap ignited the whole Tifosi sector
To be fair, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Hartley was pretty much in fuel saving mode and his engineer even told him he doesn't have enough energy left to fight against the charging Ferrari.

Two brothers: the Porsche 963 is the one brother blessed by the light, and the Toyota GR010 with black livery is another brother possessed by the darkness.
Toyota and Porsche had an immaculate rhythm at the second half of the race, de Vries, Kobayashi and Estre were insanely fast. They would've caught up with Ferrari at some point, and it would've been an insane 3-way battle. A shame Ferrari's strat was not there.
That's endurance racing for you traffic can give you as many opportunities as it can take it away, and in Estre's case it was the latter, but still an absolutely incredible fight between these two

Toyota has declared once they arrrived on the track that they painted their car black because in Japanese culture that represents the "hate of loosing" refering to the defeat in Le mans 2023 by Ferrari. Where was the "epic"? Not a single switch in leading. Not a single real attack. Estre was hunting 4 sure, but he was never in a real spot to overtake. It was tight, not more not less. "fight" pffff
One of the greatest fights I've seen in a WEC race - had me on the edge of my chair for the final ten minutes. Kamui is an absolute machine!
