If you buy from abroad you may get slapped with import duty, I imported a boost pressure sensor for a RAV4 from Japan because Toyota wanted silly money for one by the time I’d paid the duty I saved about £20 ! Also brought a steel sump guard from the EU and paid £40 import duty on top 😡👍🏻🇬🇧

I got quoted 1300 from the main steelers for abs pump/module on my VW Golf.......the car only cost me 950

I took it off myself sent it away had it repaired and i put it back on.
All done for 245
Yeah we do alot of them but this is a rare unit and rare fault that nobody can fix apparently,that is why the breakers charge so much for that one part number
I've often wondered people who make videos for social media seem to spend a percentage of their day buggering about videoing and talking to the camera, I just wondered how much work they would get done if they were not messing with videos.
I 100% agree with you but I started this channel as a way to measure the changes I make to smooth out the company, it’s like being on a diet but not weighing your self each week just going on year after year, I spend around 20mins a day recording during my working day but also thinking about improving the work flow most of the day,look back on my early vids you will see I’m not show casing my work or looking for anything apart from a nice work life balance,I am honest about what I do and the reason behind it and that is why I’m not asking for sponsors or free tools check..please reply as I would like to know if that does not come across in my vids as I am happy to tweet stuff.. 🙏🙏
@@rmsdiagnostics It's just an observation looking at people videoing their work, it's interesting to see what you do but having worked for myself for 50 years I couldn't find the time to mess about filming. And sometimes it's not good for a lot of people to know what you're doing. But I must admit in some cases it's been advantageous to some businesses.
thanks for replying,I never wanted to make a how to or a technical channel that would show much of how we fix fault,but we have had to keep it balanced to show the changes we are making and how it’s help while also keeping people engaged. it’s not a marketing thing for us as we are always over booked but if we can give a better customer experience by listening to our views win/win for everybody.
What’s the issue? It’s their business, videos can help reach more potential customers

just had the same problem with my vauxhall needed a door control unit , not able to get new back order , only used one and it took two weeks for delivery .
