He has had to get his heart “shocked” 3 times so far to get his heart back into rhythm. They said next time they will do an ablation. It’s a scary thing to go through, anything with the heart is. Doug seems like a good dude I hope he can get his drinking under control. I used to do a lot of drinking and it took a huge toll on my health. so much healthier now that I stopped with all that alcohol not saying that’s what caused his heart problem, but it definitely causes health problems.

I have a family member that has an enlarged aorta and man is it scary when you get told that it wasn’t too far out from bursting if they didn’t notice those symptoms and test for them. One thing I know about this topic is that it could take years for it to slowly grow (could be connective tissue disorder or something like that). It’s not really growing though, it’s the tissue itself loosening if this is what happened to Doug. I hope he gets proper help and tests done to ensure he stays safe and is monitored for anything else that could also be related to this.

Aneurysm on the aorta valve is that what your trying to describe my dad had one. He got it repaired but if it bursts you’re gone.
Had my aortic valve replaced 4 years ago this upcoming January, I know what he’s going through
Edgewood. St. Elizabeth, who was his cardiologist? Schutzman and Miller are really good and Sanford. Hope everything's good 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
