Great stuff and thank you for the shout out! I also hate to be that guy, but your understanding of the force morale/force rating is just slightly off. To clarify, the difference in the force RATING is the important aspect when sorting out your supports. So, the British you show have a force rating of -1, therefore if the opponent has a force rating of 0, you'd get 1 extra support point, if they had +1, you'd get 2 extra, etc. The Force Morale is mostly for deciding who goes first and how long you stay on the table! I hope that makes sense. Great looking force as well! I'd be inclined to keep Sgt Kelly out of the line of fire!

Ah, i knew I was doing that wrong, I actually re filmed that bit 3 times as I had to keep referring back to the book!
I don't get to play it enough, but I've never had a bad game.

@@stigofthedump181 Ha ha, I don't think it's very well explained and the two terms can be a bit confusing. TBH, it doesn't make much difference and your way of doing it is still valid and a good way of balancing the forces anyway.

    Chain of Command (on the cheap);
1 copy rules (PDF is about $20)
    2 boxes of 1/72 infantry (around $30)
Cardboard orders/pinned/broken counters (I made these for a bit under $5)
markers for shock (I used little wooden cubes marked with Roman numerals; about $5).
    Pillow-stuffing for smoke markers (free).
Overall entry level price for starting Coc in 1/72 scale with 2 basic opposing platoons =

To expound on corvus’ comment - you could also buy one of the Flames of war starter boxes - hit the beach or Stalingrad and you can get playing CoC in 15mm.
You could also use one of the starter boxes for Bolt action to play in 28mm.
Actually in 1/72 you could buy one of Italeri’s battle boxes and you could get terrain and an army.

      @@WARdROBEPlaysWWII To expound further...
I am a cheapskate who values versatility.
28mm is the weightiest scale in terms of cost, and is sized at about 2x the CoC groundscale.
1/72 is the 'cheap & cheerful' scale, with a large variety of plastic figure & vehicle manufacturers, and is about 25% oversized for CoC.
15mm is ideal to groundscale, has a fair variety of range available, and translates very well to more 'epic' rulesets (eg OGroup).

I like the bit you made. Well done. I like following a theme as well. Doing desert rats in one of my 15mm games and have dice and chits and decals for it all. It's one of my Battlegroup forces.

They are just mdf bases, I print out the symbols, stick them to the bases then paint with a sponge in an attempt to make them blend in.

@@stigofthedump181- I thought Flames of War was long dead. Most folk have moved on to Rapid Fire or Battlegroup or even Bolt Action. And those of us with a Lardy sense of humour much prefer CoC or O Group.

@@stigofthedump181 - Only played O Group once (so far), and am no expert, but imho it’s by far the most realistic battalion level game in existence. I’ve read a number of actual WW2 battle reports and memoirs and the tabletop combat mirrors those reports very well.
Can well imagine it doesn’t suit the kind of folk who like to field an entire battalion of Tiger tanks, but the rules would probably cater for that too!
