I followed the same steps as u said.. arisi ya nalla sevakka varuthu podichen.. 1 cup arisi ku 2.5 cups thanni vitten.. sari ku sari vellam poten... Well cooked ana puttu madiri vandhuduthu... Kali nu sonna yarum nambalai 😌 but taste was very yummy.. Nan enna thappu paniruken?
Thiruvadharai Kali - An offering on the Pournami Day (Full Moon Day) in the Tamil Month of Margazhi (Dec - Jan) to Lord Shiva Ingredients 1 Cup rice (to be washed, drained, roasted very well and ground to a fine rava consistency) 2 Cups water 1 Cup Jaggery Ghee - a few spoons Toor dal or Moong dal - 1 spoon Coconut (grated) - 2 spoons for cooking and 1 spoon for garnishing Cardamon, powdered Procedure Wash the rice well, drain completely and roast the rice till it becomes golden red Grind the rice to a fine rava consistency, after it cools Soak the Toor dal or Moong dal for some time - just to make it soft (Either Toor dal or Moong dal can be used, per one's wish or family practice. Gita Amma is used to Moong dal, as done by her Mother in law In a pan, heat the ghee When the ghee is hot, roast the soaked Toor dal or Moong dal When roasted add, the water per the measurement When water is boiling, add the jaggery and it should melt completely Add two spoons of grated coconut as well Cardamon, powdered to be added to the water When the mix is boiling well, add the roasted rice rava and cook on a medium flame, till it becomes soft and well cooked (with a lid, 7-10 mins) Be careful to avoid, it getting burnt in the bottom Thiruvadharai Kali is ready Transfer to the serving bowl and garnish with grated coconut Offer to the LORD Chant either loudly or mentally OM NA-MA-SHI-VAA-YA (Every syllable is a single count, except VAA - that is two counts) Vaazha Valamudan

In a pan, heat the ghee
