Even the lacquer is in amazing original condition. It is nearly completely mint, except that at some point the neck tenon came unsoldered and it has since been expertly resoldered and now is completely solid.(see photos)There is only some very light lacquer loss around this area of the resolder on the neck tenon as can be expected. Many high level professional saxophone players really prefer these vintage Purple Logo Yamahas to their modern counterparts. This Gorgeous tenor is gig ready and needs nothing!
