All of us are sinners, and deserve God's judgement and punishment of eternity in hell. But despite this, God still loves us, and sent His only Son to die in our place and take the judgement that we deserve, and He raised Him from the dead three days later. If we believe this, and repent of our sins and turn towards God, committing our lives to follow and obey Him, and put our faith in Jesus for our salvation (trusting Jesus alone to save us - not trusting in good deeds to get into heaven, but only trusting in Jesus), then our sins are forgiven and we receive eternal life. Repent and believe, and be baptized, and accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord today.
