    Sir napansin q rin dahil putol nga sa taas ng thermo switch q pagmainit yung engine q namamatay yung makina q kahit nd nman aq overheat pero pagnamatay at estart q andar nman kaagad.lalo ns pagnaka on yung ac q iyan ang problema pero pag off ok nman.

    Boss may kinalaman ba yan pag hindi nakakabit yung para sa gas resirculation nauubusan ng gas ang carburetor? Yung van kasi namen hindi nakakabit yan. Sa vacuum valve switch. Naiisip ko parang sa hangin kasi napuputol daloy ng gas. Hindi naman barado ang strainer nya.

      sir kung mag base po ako sa video mga 57 seconds bago sya nag open. from 1:40 mins at 51 deg C to 2:37 mins at 69 to 70 deg C. Yung opening po ng thermostatic valve na ito ay depende kung gaano ka bilis mag init ang makina or yung cooling system po. pag walang thermostat ang cooling system medyo mabagal ang opening nya. Since vacuum supply ito sa EGR valve, mahalaga na mag oopen lang ito pag na abot na ang normal operating temperature ng engine, kasi kung malamig pa ang makina at nag open ito, mag oopen ang egr at cold engine, it will cause engine vibration po. watch nyu po ang video na ito about egr effect th-cam.com/video/YcYF6Uir6UY/w-d-xo.html

    Sir yung corolla gli ko nasisinok sya every 2000 rpm, then pansin ko yung switching valve nya puro na epoxy. Meron po ba konek pag sinok nya dahil sa seitching valve

    Good day sir. Nailagay ko na sa tamang port yung hose papunta sa thermal swicth then balik sa EGR pero namamatay makina ko, ano problema nun sir? So inilipat ko muna yung hose para sa thermal sw./egr dun sa port ng idle up dahil wala nmn ako ac. Thank you sir.

      Boss pareho po ba tayo ng carburetor na 5 ports? yung idle up na sinasabi nyu po ay yung nasa letter C na port dun sa video sa baba?pag nilagay nyu po sa letter C, ang mangyayari po mag oopen na agad yung erg valve pag naka rekta ito sa port letter C kasi may initial vacuum ito at idle. ngayun po since dumaan sya sa thermo switch, during cold engine start, hindi pa ito mag oopen pag hindi pa nag init si thermo switch, ngyun po at idle at nag init na si thermo switch, ang mangyayari po ay mag kakaroon po kayo ng vacuum leak na cause po ni egr valve, kasi po nag open na sya.ngayun po pag umandar na kayo at nag throttle, mag coclose po si egr valve kasi unti-unti pong mawawala yung vacuum dun sa port letter C.
      dapat po sa port letter E (to EGR) naka connect si EGR, at idle, wala pa itong vacuum tapos pag nag throttle na po kayo, mag oopen po si egr valve.
      Yung sinasabi nyu po na namamatay, baka po kulang lang sa tuning yung carburetor, try nyu po dagdagan yung fuel by adjusting yung idle base screw ng dahan dahan.

      Boss yung carburetor nyu po ba ay 3+1? meaning tatlong ports magkatabi tapos yung isa nakahiwalay? maganda sana kung makapag send ka ng photo sa fb ko para may clear idea ako, anyway, assuming po na yung isa ay naka hiwalay, dyan po yung egr naka connect, to double check po, connect po kayo ng vacuum gauge, at idle dpat walang vacuum yan, tapos pag nag open po kayo ng throttle, saka lang mag kakaroon ng vacuum, dapat po dumaan muna ito sa vacuum switching valve bago pumunta sa egr valve, pag nakamali po kayo ng connect, halimbawa, yung port na ginamit nyu ay may vacuum during idle, tapos yung connection nyu ay direct to egr valve, egr valve will open at idle and this will create vacuum leak po.

      @@generbalofinos3254 Boss kung 3+1 (A,B,C + D), yung D po yung sa EGR valve na connection, tapos po yung C ay para sa single acting na choke actuator, pag double acting po yung choke actuator, dalawang vacuum po yung pumasok o kailanga ng choke actuator, isang port to open at isang port to close yung choke, so either yung C or A pero kadalasan po yung C (both may initial vacuum po sila, medyo mataas lang ng kaunti si A, initially at idle, may vacuum reading na po si C, so ito naka connect sa choke port for close position, tapos yung B naman ay mag kakaroon lang ng vacuum pag nag throttle open na po kayo at si C ay mawawalan ng vacuum, so yung B naka connect sa choke actuator to open na port. bali pag ng open po kayo ng throttle, choke will open and at idle ang choke ay close, pero pag mainit na po yung makina, yung automatic choke po yung may overall control sa choke plate. try to verfy, observe nyu po yung choke plate by removing yung rubber boot in between sa air cleaner and carburetor. Opinion ko lang po ito bos

      Boss kung yung egr lang ang naka connect sa thermo switch, pwede po
      bypass temporarily yung thermo switch, ang mangyayari, nka rekta yung
      egr valve dun sa vacuum port ng carburetor. Ganito po yung magiging
      possible scenario kung naka bypass.
      1. During idle, hindi pa mag oopen yung egr valve, kasi wala pang vacuum dun sa port ng carburetor. meaning hindi pa ito nakaka apekto sa idle ng makina.
      2. Pag mainit na yung engine at nag transition ka from idle to slow speed, yung aarankada ka na, hindi mo masyado ramdam yung effect, yung effect na parang may vacuum leak.
      3. Pag hindi pa mainit yung engine at nag transition ka from idle to slow speed, yung pagarangkada mo, ma raramdaman mo yung engine vibration tempoararily, kasi nag fully open na yung egr at wala pa sa optimal engine temperature yung makina.
      ang main function po ng thermo switch is to control yung opening ng egr at optimal engine operating temperature.

    Sir yun sa akin 4 po kabitan ng hose base po sa mga video nyo pag nerekta ko hose hnd pinadaan sa sitch ngana egr pero po oag pinadaan ko sa switch po hbd ngana kahit apakan ang gas,paano po b pgkabit ng hose pag apat po yun 2 ginamit ko nilagyan ko lang ng ibang hose yun 2 ntira kabitan para mgasara,sna po matulungan nyo ako

      Boss pag dumaan po ng thermal vacuum switching valve, gagana lang po ang egr pag na nasa normal engine operating temperature na ito or base sa testing ko ay nasa around 70 deg. C saka palang gagana ang thermal vacuum switch valve, meaning saka lang mag oopen ang thermal vacuum switching valve at mag kakaroon ng vacuum at gagana or mag oopen ang egr valve. nasa bandang 2:39 mins po ng video yung test na ginawa ko. Kung gusto nyu naman po malaman about carburetor vacuum line connection, try nyu po watch yung video sa baba bandang 5:23 mins. baka sakaling makatulong, trace nyu nalang po kung ano-ano yung mga existing devices na naka connect sa carburetor vacuum port nyu.

      Boss ok lang naman po na walang thermostat pero hindi ibigsabihin hindi na po mag ooverheat ang makina. ang hindi gumagana or hindi nag oopen na thermostat valve ay isang sanhi lamang ng pag overheat ng makina. pero kung ito ay na mmaintain at na checheck regularly, malaking tulong ito sa life span ng ating makina. maaaring hindi nyu pa nararamdaman yung immediate effect pag walang thermostat sa ngayun. ang thermostat po ay nag cocontrol or nag reregulate ng temperature ng ating engine for better engine performance. kailangan ma control or ma regulate yung temperature ng ating engine para yung thermal expansion ng mga valves or other metal parts ng engine ay ma control din. kung lagi lang malamig yung ating engine, hindi natin na mamaximize yung kanyang full potential power.

    Hello sir, talking about thermal switch, i already found the thermoswitch of the f6a radiator. Kung tama po e ito yung nasa base ng radiator pero disconnected sa wires at nirekta po yung wire kaya pag switch ON ng ignition ay andar agad ang motor fan. Bakit kaya nakarekta ang motorfan? Di ba dapat itrigger muna ito ng thermoswitch? At yung thermoswitch alin kaya dun ang pos.(+) terminal? Thank you ulit sir.

      Boss not sure kung bakit naka bypass yung thermoswitch nyu, baka naman hindi na sya nag ooperate ng maayos. meaning baka hindi na sya mag switch on pag ang temperature ay mataas na (somewhere aroung 88 deg C). try mo check kung operational paba yung thermoswitch, babad mo lang sa mainit na tubig at 100 deg. C if possible tapos connect mo yung multimeter
      at series mo lang yung connection for continuity check. since switch sya, sa tingin ko hindi sya polarity sensitive. kung gusto mo naman na hindi kana magtanggal ng switch, connect mo nalng yung origianal wire, try mo hanapin yung ka kulay ng wire sa thermoswitch (typically blue/white and blue/red strip. hope this help and don't forget to subscribe. thanks

      @@UDoITchannel sir, gagana ba ang temp. gauge kung sira ang thermostat? Naisip ko kasi baka sira thermostat ko at kaya lang working ang temp gauge ay gawa naman ng temp sending unit. Maari ba ganung scenario sir. Thank u.

      @@bennsantiago3748 Boss gagana parin po yung temperature gauge nyu kahit sira yung thermostat and thermoswitch sa inyong radiator. bali yung temperature sensor para sa temperature gauge ay hiwalay. purely indication lang ito ng temperature. Ang thermostat naman po ay isang mechanical valve na control yung kanyang opening pag mataas na yung temperature. Yung thermoswitch naman po ay electronic on/off switch para sa radiator fan mag switch on pag mataas ng yung temperature. Independent po silang tatlo. Hope this help. regards

      Boss tama po, gumagana po ito kahit walang thermostat, ang magiging effect lang po kung walang thermostat, hindi or matagal mag switch on yung thermo switch, may certain temperature yung thermo switch to switch on and off, since walang thermostat valve, walang nag reregulate or nag cocontrol ng temperature.

      nalinis ko npo ang egr at sa pinagkabitan ko ng egr. ang egr ay wala leak pero pina vacuum ko po gamit sa iyo ayaw mag stop ang engine. humihina lng ang idle.. paano ko po malinis ang clogged sa intake manifold?

      Boss kung may aircon po yung MC nyu, at carburetor type, possible po na yung idle-up solenoid valve nya ang problema, pag nag aircon po kasi tayo, kukuha ito ng additional power sa makina, mas mararamdaman nyu yung effect nito pag on nyu ng aircon tapos mag vibrate yung makina lalo na during idle, to avoid po or to prevent this scenario, importante po na gumagana yung idle-up solenoid pag nag switch tayo ng aircon, ang gagawin po ni idle-up solenoid, ay itataas nya yung idle to provide additional power na kailangan ng aircon at para hindi mag vibrate or ang worst case scenario ay mamatay yung makina. try to watch yung video sa baba bandang 5:25 mins para sa vacuum connection ng idle-up and visit this link for additional information about carburetor vacuum port

      Boss sa tingin ko pag clogged yung intake manifold, hirap yung engine makahinga, less yung pumapasok na air sa engine that cause rich mixture, since dami gasolina ang hindi na susunog, it will create heavy carbon sa exhaust pipe (medyo mainit yung smoke). Mapapansin mo rin na parang walang power during acceleration. Ang pina ka worst, engine will stop.

      Hello merilyn, try nyu po check yung idle solenoid valve or yung tinatawag nilang fuel cutoff valve, baka lang po walang supply na 12 volts, you can watch this video th-cam.com/video/bXRXGmK7p7o/w-d-xo.html bandang 6:07 mins may ginaawa akng test dyan na temporarily dinisconnect ko yung solenoid at tinakpan yung butas ng lagayan ng solenoid then start the engine, meron din akng ginawa dyan sa video na test kung nag aactuate or nag oopen ba yung idle solenoid pag may 12 volts supply.

      Boss yung thermal vacuum switching valve ay mechanical switch sya na kapag uminit na yung wax dun sa internal part ng valve ay mag oopen ito. ginagamit ito para during cold engine start, wala pang vacuum na pupunta sa egr valve

      @@UDoITchannel boss during cold start sasakyan ko nasa 850-900rpm lang diba dapat nasa 1200-1300rpm at pag nasa normal temp na bababa na sa 850-900rpm. Ano kaya posibleng gawin o sira kung meron man dapat linisin o palitan. Sasakyan ko pala toyota corolla gli 1996 4afe automatic trans. Salamat
